Page 90 of Two Daddies for Little Jenna
"Just a ruse to get free kisses, eh?" With a chuckle, Daddy Clark gave me a kiss just as raunchy.
I let out a loud yawn when he broke the kiss. "Can we go home now, Daddies? I just want to cuddle up with you in bed and fall asleep feeling safe for a change. Sleeping on the floor without you by my side was such a bore."
"I bet you missed these too." Nick opened the bag in his hand and pulled out my stuffed toys.
"Doggo and Bunno!" I jumped and clapped in joy, snatching them from his hand and hugging them to my chest.
"Your Daddy and I kept them safe," Clark said, putting my favorite pink binky in my mouth that I instantly began sucking. "To tell you the truth, we carried them everywhere we went. You liked to do that to keep them safe, so they wouldn't feel scared alone. We had the same reasons, but they were also a reminder of the day we promised to keep you safe. We've fulfilled our promise, and we'll continue to keep it as long as we're alive."
My Daddies' love for me was eternal. As Daddy Clark drove us back home, I cuddled up with Daddy Nick in the backseat. The journey home was long and tiring, but there was no place like home. The first thing I did reaching home was run up into our bedroom and jump in bed as darkness enveloped the night sky. My Daddies climbed in and turned the lights off before sandwiching me in between.
After going back and forth about wanting to see a therapist, I was finally sure about what I wanted. Every time I tried running away from my past, it came back to haunt me and tried to ruin my life for good. The best course of action was to accept it and move on. If a therapist would help me do that, then so be it.
"So no more bad men out to get me, huh?" I said quietly as I closed my eyes. "No more problems and no more worries. All well that ends well."
"When life's problems get too much for you, we'll be there," Nick said, kissing me on the top of my head. "And this isn't the end, sweet bunny. It's just the beginning. We can't wait to make you our wife."
Nick quietly began singing me his lullaby, the one he'd sang when he saved me back at the club.
"You've come such a long way from the scared Little girl I met crying outside the supermarket," Clark said, scooting closer. "You're our brave Little girl and a hero."
I couldn't believe the change I'd gone through ever since I ran away from my parents' home, which was the best decision I'd ever made. My Daddies and I were fated to stumble into each other's lives and fall in love. It was what life had always intended.
"Daddy Clark, Daddy Nick," I said. "I love you both so much. Now and forever, until the end of time."
"Love you too," they said in unison.
As I began slipping into sleep, I pictured our future together come to fruition, one where I grew old with my men. My Daddies. My lovers. And soon, my husbands.
