"Well, I get to kick him at the very least," Michael said as the rest of us Littles ran up to him.
"Yeah, let's teach him a lesson," Elijah said as Michael began kicking him, the rest of us joining him.
"That's enough now," Daddy Clark said, crawling up to us with a hand on his tummy where Levi had punched him. "I wanted to break his face too, but we should leave his fate to the authorities. We can't stoop down to his level."
"Daddy, are you alright?" I ran up to him as the others stopped, kneeling before him and pushing the strands of hair out of his face. "Tell me where it hurts, and don't try to hide it."
"I'm fine, really." He winced as he stood up. "My tummy hurts, but it was worth it all. I intended to take a beating. It was all part of the plan. I would've kicked his ass had Michael not intervened."
"My silly Daddy." I gave him a quick peck on the lips and smiled up at him. "Thank you for saving me. I was so scared down here, sure that I would never get to see any of you again."
"No kisses for me?" Nick crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow, clicking his tongue.
I ran up to him and threw my arms around him, giving him a soft kiss. "Thank you, Daddy Nick."
It was such a relief being back in their warm and loving arms. The other Littles ran up to their Daddies and helped them back on their feet.
"I'm sorry, everyone," I said quietly. "I wish you didn't have to take beatings for me. I'll forever be grateful for all you've done."
When I fell in love with my Daddies, they'd given me a community that would look after me should I need it, who'd protect me as one of their own, and who took their responsibility of being my uncles and friends very seriously.
"What did I miss?" Uncle John said, a hand on his head as he stared down at Levi. "And why is a mad man trapped between your legs, Nick?"
"Michael stabbed him with a knife when you were unconscious, uncle John!" Elijah pointed at Michael, who looked like he'd seen a ghost. "I saw him do it. Pushed the knife right through the man's feet. Thought I heard it crack a bone on its way down, and there was blood everywhere."
"Michael," uncle John said, dragging out the word. "Didn't we agree about not handling sharp objects?"
Michael rolled his eyes as he frowned at Elijah. "Such betrayal, much wow. I've trained us all for this very situation, solved the mystery of where Jenna was. I practically saved the day by stopping Levi. What do I get in return? Just complaints. That's it. Little detective Michael is retiring for good."
"You get a thank you, too." I ran up to him and kissed him on the cheeks. "Thank you for being my friend. There might be future adventures where a Little detective might come in handy."
"You really mean that?" Michael's cheeks turned red as he blushed, and then he raised his head and preened. "Well, I guess I am pretty cool, huh? Fine, Little detective Michael lives to solve another mystery."
"Hate to ruin the party," Nick said, pointing between his legs. "But shouldn't someone call the cops? Jenna, do you want to do the honors of unmasking the coward?"
As one of Elijah's Daddy called the cops, I kneeled before him and took the satanic mask off his face. "Yup, it's Levi, short for Leviathan. He's Otis' son and right-hand man. Otis was a perfectionist, so he trained his sons in different fields. Levi was trained in hand-to-hand combat because he was the strongest."
"This isn't how it ends, you bitch!" Levi barked. "You'll pay for this and everything you've done."
"You'll spend the rest of your life locked behind bars," I said quietly. "And I'll get to live a happy life with my Daddies. This is in fact how it ends because you've made horrible decisions. You could've moved on, but the teachings of the cult continue to ruin your life. Maybe you'll think things through and turn your life around in prison."
"You gave me back my sweet Little girl," Daddy Clark pulled Michael in a headlock and ruffled his hair.
Michael giggled as he broke free. "Well, it wasn't for free. I accept all kinds of payments, including chocolates and toys."
"Once we're out of here," Clark said. "I'm giving you the biggest gift you've ever seen in your life. Seriously, though. Thank you, Michael. We'll forever be grateful for your help."
Michael's chest swelled with pride as his eyes twinkled up at his Daddy as if to ask if he heard what Clark said about him.
The cops arrived and Levi was taken away in handcuffs. Everyone left but I stayed behind with my Daddies, excitedly showing them around the home I grew up in. For the first time, I wasn't sad recounting my saddest memories and where they'd taken place, for at the end of the day, the past was in the past and I'd get to go to the home I'd created with my men.
"Is it really all over, Daddies?" I said when we were ready to leave, shifting my gaze between them. "We get to go home now and I'll never have to stay away from you again? It all seems so unreal considering how I was so sure I'd never see you again just a few hours ago. I have a hard time believing this isn't just part of an elaborate hallucination."
There was that smile that I so dearly loved and missed. They looked at each other before Daddy Nick moved his face closer, leaning in to give me a raunchy kiss.
"Did that feel like it was part of a hallucination?" Nick asked with a lopsided smile.
"Felt pretty real," I said. "Might have to get a kiss from Daddy Clark just to be sure."
