I chuckled. "Yup, that's Michael."

Nick didn't have a Little of his own, but the rest of the playlist consisted of children's jingles. It was so thoughtful of him to take the time and prepare a playlist just to help me relax.

I sang along to the tunes I knew. His idea worked brilliantly. By the time we reached, I didn't have a nervous bone in my body. It was strange that I was so comfortable being a Little in Nick's presence. I'd usually need Daddy or another Little to fully immerse in the headspace.

"We're almost there, Nick. Are you going to tell me which movie we're going to watch?"

It was sweet that he wanted to keep it a surprise. If I had to guess, it was going to be an animated film.

"Candyman," he said, joining the line of cars waiting to get in. "A horror film. I want you to remember tonight."

"And what better way than scare me to death?" I laughed. "I absolutely love horror films, but Daddy's banned me from watching them. We watchedHalloweentogether and for the next week, I was convinced a masked killer was hiding under the bed when there was the slightest sound. I would wake him up in the middle of the night and ask him to check under the bed. I had to spend sleepless nights. Needless to say, I never got to see the sequels."

The things I put Daddy through. It was a miracle he hadn't gone insane by now. Instead, he was kind, loving, and patient.

"Well, I'm glad you told me that," Nick said. "I don't want your Daddy scolding me. We'll just watch an animated film instead."

"No!" I begged, dragging out the word and joining my hands. "I won't tell Daddy if you don't. It's been weeks since I've seen a horror film and I can't take it anymore. I tried to watch one with Michael when Daddy dropped me off at his place, but uncle John stopped us. Pretty please?"

When I stuck my lower lip out in a pout and made a sad face, I knew Nick couldn't resist. I had learned the ancient art of innocent faces from the best, none other than Michael. I had paid him in toys for a day-long masterclass session of mastering the art of convincing your Daddy to give you what. It had to be hush-hush, of course. So he had to teach me when no one was around.

"Aw, how can I say no to such a sweet face?" He said and my face instantly lit up, knowing I had gotten my toy's worth with Michael's training. "Hah! Just kidding. I'd recognize that face anywhere. It's one of Michael's signature faces. He's taught that to every Little at the club and gathered a bin full of toys in exchange. We had to put up posters at the club warning Daddies not to fall for it. You're gonna have to do better than that, Little girl."

"I was afraid it would come to this," I said with a nod.

Dramatically turning my face to him, I looked up at him with big round eyes and a wobbly lower lip.

"Fine," Nick said with defeat. "Just don't tell your Daddy."

I fist-pumped the air. Michael had warned me it was a premium move, a work still in progress and untested, but it worked.

Showing the tickets on his phone, he drove us to the snack booth. He bought popcorn for himself and a bag of chips for me.

"Can I please have some cola too, Nick?"

"Didn't you say your Daddy doesn't want you consuming too much sugar?"

"He worries too much. I was malnourished when we first met, but that was months ago. I'm all better now, but he still insists on a healthy diet."

"As he should," he scolded. "Growing girls need all the nutrition they can get. I'll make an exception just this once."

I willed myself not to get aroused at his scolding. Nick wasn't my Daddy after all. But my traitorous pussy had begun to show signs of wetness. It was hot when a Daddy used their dominant voice. Nick's was unintentionally very deep, which only made it harder to resist.

I couldn't help but smile when he handed me the cola. It was a sign that Nick cared for my well-being, just like Daddy did. I would always ask for things I wanted, but it was a Daddy's duty to decide whether they were good for me.

Once he drove us to our designated spot, we got out. I waited for him to go in through the car's backdoor and push the seats away. Once there was ample room, he helped me in and sat up next to me. We sat with our legs stretched and he covered us with a warm blanket covered with images of tiny puppies.

As we waited for the film to start, I opened my bag of chips.

"So you were malnourished when you first met Clark? How did you meet him?"

I hadn't gone down that memory lane in a long time. Daddy and I fell in love so fast and so hard, it now felt like we'd known each other forever.

"It's a long story," I said with a smile. "He found me crying at a supermarket. No one had come to check if I was okay, but he did. I was going through a tough time. He offered to take me in until I got back on my feet. Days turned into weeks and we fell in love."

"Clark's a lucky man. I'm gonna be honest. When I realized that you were already taken, I was so mad I didn't get to meet you first. Nothing ever in life goes according to plan."

"Better late than never. I'm glad I met you too, Nick. I didn't know I needed another...friend."
