Page 41 of Two Daddies for Little Jenna

When I woke up an hour later, I almost jumped at the dark figure sitting on the floor patiently and staring up at me. Soon I realized it was Jenna and pulled the blinds to light up the room.

Jenna giggled. "Sorry I've been sitting here and staring at you like a creep. I was just trying to use my psychic powers to wake you up. I woke you up telepathically."

She was too adorable sometimes. She was dressed in her favorite clothes, a pink top that saidlittleand jammies with little Huskies on them. She never had makeup on at home but now she did. She even put a bow in her hair and tied her hair in a ponytail.

"Look at you all dolled up and ready to welcome your boyfriend." I chuckled when her cheeks turned red. "We're beyond that stage, aren't we? You both like each other and calling him your boyfriend is nothing to be shy about."

"It's just that." She twisted her wrist nervously. "I want him to be my Daddy soon. I'm just waiting for the right time to ask him."

"Ah, I remember how excited I was when you called me Daddy for the first time." I got out of bed and carried her out of the nursery on my hip. "Nick's going to be one happy man."

Taking her downstairs, I sat on the couch and sat her in my lap. "By the way, have you gone to second base yet?"

"Daddy!" Her eyes widened as she pouted. "Behave."

It was probably the only time she'd ask me to behave. Usually, it was the other way around.

I chuckled. "Still shy about things concerning sex, I see. Remember how it was between the two of us in the beginning?"

She shrugged as she fidgeted with her fingers. "That was different. I was too shy to ask what I wanted, too shy to tell you that I was ready for intimacy. But it isn't like we're gonna go all the way without your permission."

"Permission?" I laughed. "What am I, your supervisor? No, sweetheart. I want you to make a move if you feel you're ready. Remember how I told you a Daddy can only make so many decisions? This is one of those that you need to make your own."

Before she could reply, the doorbell rang.

"He's here, Daddy! He's here." Jenna was so excited she was practically vibrating in my lap from wiggling too much.

With a hand on her bottom, I carried her to answer the door.

"There's my favorite girl!" When Nick stuck his arms out, Jenna eagerly climbed into them, laying a peck on his cheek.

"Thanks again for doing this, Clark." He followed my lead and we sat on the couch. "Thank you for inviting me to live at your place. I'll be a good housemate, I promise. You have no idea how much this means to me."

I couldn't help but notice how he referred to our home asmyplace. Just like him, Jenna had taken a long time to realize it was her home too now.

"I actually do." I helped her climb out of his lap. "Back when I first met Jenna, I had to convince her to move in with me. When she did, she made me the happiest man in the world. She even ran away without telling me once. She thought she was being a burden. Typical Jenna. It scared me to death."

"This is my dog, Nico." Jenna scooped the puppy off the floor and offered him to Nick. "He lives here too."

"I've already met him, darling. When we went to the cabin in the woods."

I smiled knowingly. New love can be so exciting, but they still didn't know so much about each other, leading to communication gaps. Living together would be a good idea indeed. I knew why Jenna was introducing her puppy to Nick, and I knew exactly why she was looking up at him with big expectant eyes.

"She wants you to pet him," I finally said. "Her pup means a lot to her and now she hopes you'll like him too."

It was her way of showing Nick her world and hoping he'll love it just as much.

"Oh." He took Nico in his arms and cradled him like a baby before rubbing his tiny belly, causing Nico to shake a leg back and forth with happiness.

Jenna giggled. "It's a relief that he likes you." Then she picked Doggo off the floor and offered it to him. "And this is our final housemate, Doggo. Daddy gifted him to me, and he's just as important to me as the stuffed bunny you gifted me."

Ever since she received Nick's gift, she'd been carrying it around with Doggo everywhere. Each night she cuddled with them, claiming she couldn't fall asleep if they weren't with her.

"She wants you to kiss him," I added when Nick just blinked at the stuffie blankly, Jenna holding her breath since it was an important part of welcoming Nick.

She sighed in relief when he took him and kissed his head.

"Whew, now that we got that out of the way," she said, plucking a small bag off the coffee table and placing it in Nick's lap. "I'd like to give you your welcome package. Every housemate receives this upon arrival."
