Page 75 of Two Daddies for Little Jenna
Clark chuckled. "Ah, it wasn't that long ago now that I think about it. Jenna had toothache from having ice cream for breakfast. She was scared to death of dentists. I offered to give her some relief if she went to the dentist and agreed to eat veggies for a week."
"That was some hard-earned reward." I shivered in my seat just thinking about it. "Daddy Clark gave me nothing but veggies for a week. He can be merciless like that sometimes. Took me hours just to finish my meals, but I'm a girl of my word."
"Well, that settles it then," Nick said. "You'll always finish your veggies, and in exchange, you get a night in bed with your Daddies where we'll do anything you want us to do."
"Anything?" I said with an evil grin.
"Oh, I know that look," Clark said pointing at my face. "She's gonna go for three or four rounds and we'll have to give it to her good because we're men of our word too."
"I accept, so it's too late!" I said, bursting into a fit of giggles and rubbing my hands together. "No take-backs."
"Oh no, what did we get ourselves into?" Nick playfully pretended to be shocked by pressing his palms against his cheeks. "What if we don't make it out alive."
"There's two of us this time," Clark said, taking Nick's hand and shaking it. "No matter how many rounds, we'll get through this together."
"Agreed," Nick said as they did their lengthy new handshake they had learned last week. "Go on, then. Time to finish your meal, sweet bunny."
"Oh, I'm supposed to eat them starting now?" I stuck my lower lip out in a pout. "What if you trick me again by not giving me the reward?"
Nick grabbed onto his chest, fell onto the floor dramatically, and pressed the back of his hand against his forehead. "Oh, I can't believe our babygirl doesn't trust us to keep our word. I wish the lord would've taken me before I got to see this day. Oh no, I'm dying."
Clark clicked his tongue as he shook his head at Nick who was playing dead. "See, sweetheart? Your Daddy died because you didn't trust him enough."
I burst into a fit of giggles. "You both can be so silly sometimes, Daddies. Fine, I trust you, Daddy Nick."
Nick sprang up from the floor and sat with his legs crossed. "It's a miracle! My sweet bunny's trust in me brought me back from the dead. How can we ever thank her?"
They both looked at each other and nodded in unison. Uh-oh. Their minds were synchronizing from hanging out together so much. I had no clue what evil plan they'd come up with telepathically.
"Oh, hell no, Daddies." I glared at their fingers slowly moving towards me, their lips stretching as their smiles widened. "This better not be what I think it is. That's no way to thank a Little girl. Cursed be the day Elijah convinced me of the benefits of having two Daddies. Never did I think you both would join forces and turn against me. Daddies, no! Behave!"
But alas, it was too late. Before I knew it, their fingers were poking at my tummy. As if ten fingers weren't enough, I now had twenty fingers tickling me just as hard.
"Daddies. No. Mercy," I said between gasps, throwing my head back as I laughed like a maniac, tears of joy running down my cheeks.
I would've tried to run away, but I was firmly strapped into the highchair. They worked as an organized unit, covering every inch of my tummy and then going for round two. By the time they took pity, it was too late. I was a laughing mess, only stopping long after they'd ceased their torture.
Like the loving Daddies they were, they took turns wiping my tears, and then Nick stroked my head.
"If you ever feel the need to thank me again, please, just don't." I still had a hard time not smiling.
"Oh, I'm not done thanking you yet," Nick said. "I was just taking a break."
Nick swiftly brought his fingers back to my tummy and held them there, causing me to squeal in anticipation.
"Just kidding. We'll behave. Do you want us to feed you now?"
As if they even had to ask. Being fed by my Daddies was my favorite part of the day. It felt almost as good as cuddling with them and watching an animated film.
When I nodded, they took seats on either side of me, grabbing a spoonful of veggies and landing the Little airplanes in my mouth. It was one of those times when I was so lost staring at my Daddies' handsome faces, I paid no attention to what I was being fed. I just turned my head side to side, taking turns watching them. They seemed to enjoy the activity just as much as me.
I couldn't help but wiggle excitedly when I finished the meal, smiling ear to ear as my eyes twinkled up at them.
"Whoa, careful now," Clark said, grabbing onto the back of the highchair to steady it. "Don't want you falling over from wiggling so hard."
"What's got you so excited all of a sudden, sweet bunny?" Nick asked with a laugh. "Your newfound love for veggies?"
I bobbed my head up and down. "Sure, I'll love them if it means I'll get my reward. But that's not the reason for the excitement."
