I asked, “Can this other pup involved dance?” She shrugged, “It will likely be for acting, but we’ll cover the bases.” I asked, “And the McAlister’s are going to be fine not speaking to their daughter? You guys suck at planning. No wolf would be ok with that.”
She rubbed her temples complaining, “You are a terrible listener. We have the plan all laid out. We have a way to get in their phones just briefly. They will think communication is coming from other Alpha’s.” I glared at her.
She huffed, “For example, we will send a text pretending to be Alpha Eric to Drake when Melanie is older about no popping to their kids. Alpha Eric is going to decline to talk about it. Drake’s phone is not as protected as Alpha Eric’s, so we are going to do a fake call from Alpha Eric to him.
We will be quite busy intercepting calls, but in the end, no one will be able to come to Melanie when she needs them. ” I liked that a lot.
I said, “That’s great and all but I need her here to turn her evil. I want to bring her into the Ring. She needs to be conditioned then we will have her bringing other wolves into this life.” She sighed, “Yeah, I’m not done explaining the plan.” I shrugged, “Fine.”
She grinned, “Thank you. Anyway, Sam is going to be heavily spelled…” I cut her off, “Then you need to keep Ryan Bishop away from her or he will be able tell.” She huffed, “I’m telling the story!
The Bishop’s can’t tell if she’s ingesting it.
The necklace she has that has her paranoid about Melanie is always hidden under her clothes, Ryan Bishop will never see it.
” That sounded like a possible risk, but I gestured for her to continue.
She huffed, “Sam will be compelled to convince Drake to let Melanie go to the school when she’s thirteen.” I asked, “Compelled? Sam is a Werewolf.” She groaned, “And we know a Vampire that can compel Werewolves.”
I grinned, “So, compel Drake to let her go.” She carefully replied, “If that’s necessary we will.
” I laughed, “This is sounding better and better.” She continued, “Anyway, you told us about crossing the border, so we are going to have to keep that up. We’ll have to trial some test runs attacking Red Run when they leave Melanie behind.
We haven’t decided those events yet, but the point is they will be test runs. ”
I pressed, “For when?” She grinned, “Elise and EJ will have some big events at Black Mountain. We will choose one of theirs. We plan to make sure Melanie doesn’t eat the cookies. She already calls them mom monster cookies. She positively hates me.”
I laughed, “You’ve been spotted by a pup.” She rolled her eyes, “A genius pup, but the cookies make Sam angry any time they are mentioned. She does NOT care for being called a mom monster.” That was actually funny.
She continued. “So, we pick an event. We will engineer a massive fight over the border ordeal. A Beta pup will be upset that they don’t believe her, yes?” I nodded, “Oh yeah, super pissed. Especially if she has proof.”
She grinned, “Good. So, they have a big fight then we will put the pack into a trance and convince them Melanie left for New York for school. Just ran off.” I grinned, “That will kill Drake.” She frowned, “I doubt he will die.” I sighed, “Metaphorically.”
She nodded, “Oh well yes, he does seem to love her quite a bit.” He was weak and didn’t see pups for what they were. Mindless drones whose opinions you could form and shape. He was stupid and these people thought he was smart.
She clapped, “Then we will put her in an illusion. She will believe her parents and one brother return to talk to her. Hunters are coming so they will be attacked. We have to knock her out…” I cut in, “I want her hurt very badly.” She offered, “I guess she could take a non-fatal shot.” She wrote that down.
She asked, “Which brother do you want her to believe turns his back on her?”
I thought about it then answered, “To believe they shipped her off being unable to care for her having any shot of her believing that would have to be Jason McAlister. Tristan is training to be the Lead Beta of their pack so she’d know he could do it with her there.
” She nodded and took that as another note.
She said, “Ok that’s all good stuff. We’ll have her see them die in the illusion.” I grinned, “Then she comes here.” She snorted, “No, she is already aware never to trust you. She’ll never believe her family sent her to Alpha Ezra Knight. Drake tells all his children not to trust you.” The bastard.
She said, “We are going to send her to Black Path. It’s all worked out and their leadership agreed to our plan.
” I snarled, “THE HELL YOU ARE! SHE IS MINE TO TOY WITH!” She sat back calmly saying, “Which is why we have agreed to let Black Path have their justice. Yellow Hills killed your brother and your nephew is down there.”
I growled, “I know.” He’d been set on being a good person, so I lied to him when he was young.
His mother and mate loathed me, but I didn’t care.
She nodded, “Yes, well you kept their pack in the fold because we weren’t making headway with that Alpha and Beta until you turned Booker.
So, we are going to give Melanie to Trevor to mark. ”
I snorted, “What?” She grinned, “Well, we are going to suppress Melanie’s wolf on her sixteenth birthday.” I was now leery of her. I asked, “You can do that?” She snorted, “Me? No. A very powerful dark Witch can.” I grinned, “Valdoma.”
She nodded, “Yes. Anyway, Melanie will be subjected to the teachings of the Forgotten packs and placed with Hunters.” I grinned knowing Drake would lose his shit.
She said, “She’ll help them and every mission she helps with we will have documented to give him eventually.
She’ll kill innocents and let Omegas die. ”
That was a direct slap in the face to the allied beliefs. I said, “A Beta isn’t just going to believe her family turned on her.” She waved, “We have plans for that with fake letters and phone calls. We will steal Alpha Peter’s official Alpha seal once she’s in Black Path.”
I instructed, “Do so during a pack party. They will brush it off as the pups pulling pranks.” She took that note down too. She said, “We will have her convinced they blame her for the death since we plan to have her think they came back because they fight with her.” That was all brilliant.
She added, “A suppressed wolf will die if they are marked by someone other than their fated mate.” I grinned, “You’ll kill her wolf?” She nodded. I sighed, “I still want her here.” She said, “I know that, but think of the revenge you get on them all.”
I growled, “It’s better revenge if I broke her and turned her against them.
” She argued, “Yes, but think of the possibilities here. Melanie could be Alpha Alexander’s mate which means once she’s discovered as a Huntress they still can’t touch her.
They’d have trouble going after her considering she’s Drake’s daughter, but if she’s truly Alpha Alexander’s mate alliances would crumble when people rightfully wanted her dead because of those she kills. ” That would be hilarious.
She added, “Plus, the Princess will talk about her mental health and what was done to her as a pup. We will have the perfect tool to hold over their heads. It will KILL them to see her out there.” I asked, “And you think she’s going to reject Alexander?
Or since she’s mating Trevor, he just gets a second chance.
” She grinned, “Valdoma speculates that through a series of technical things you won’t understand, he will still know she’s his. ”
I laughed, “And you think Trevor won’t die when he finds out?” She shrugged, “I don’t care if he does or not.” I admitted, “Neither do I.” She grinned, “I didn’t think you did.” I said, “Drake will never let it fly that Melanie doesn’t come home. Other than that, it’s not a horrible plan.”
She rolled her eyes, “It’s a great plan. The pack is going to be compelled by the Vampire that compels. Drake will be horribly sick every time he thinks something doesn’t make sense.” I snorted, “A Beta wolf? Are you insane? They will know something is wrong.” Wolves didn’t get sick.
She shrugged, “A doctor will find nothing wrong with him and they will be compelled not to mention it to the Princess.” I said, “You should probably make them have everyone making Alpha Eric’s mate feeling crazy for asking questions about Melanie, because she will ask them.
If everyone gaslights her, she’ll be suspicious but she might think they are pranking her if they all do it. ” She took that note too.
I asked, “How are you going to get to an Alpha, Beta, Gamma? Hell, the entirety of their pack?” She grinned, “You are going to meet your son. Do what you do best and piss him off. Get him on our side. He can help with the cookies. We even want him to date someone in Black Mountain to easily get the cookies there. He can pick the girl so long as she’s good at cooking. We can compile a list for him.”
I snorted, “I won’t have a pup of mine mated to some Omega cook.
” She rolled her eyes, “I said date, not mark.” I nodded, “Fine. I guess I could go see him. He’ll be easy to manipulate if he’s anything like Skyler.
” She nodded, “His mother.” I snorted, “She actually thinks I don’t know she had my pup.
” She shrugged like she didn’t give a single shit.
I agreed, “Fine, I’ll get my pup onboard.
He will NOT mark the Omega though, so do something so she doesn’t press him to mark her.
You should probably suppress her scent too or her mate will take her away.
” She sighed, “You always give me more to do.” I winked, “Sorry about that.” She rolled her eyes, “I know you aren’t. ”
I chuckled, “So Sam McAlister is already a paranoid nutjob and her own daughter dislikes her.” She answered, “No, Melanie loves her mother.” I pointed out, “You said she calls her a mom monster.” She nodded, “When she eats the cookies, yes. She still loves her mother.” The pack would probably think Sam had lost it though.
She’d become less likable to them, which would make Drake’s life harder.
I asked, “What about Alpha Eric?” She winced, “Yes, he’ll have to be compelled to.
” I pointed out, “If that goes wrong, we are all dead.” She huffed, “We are getting everything in place. We will mute his bond. There are those in the Ring that know how the Princesses bond was muted from her Hackura Family. We are in the process of getting a bracelet like that for the process. We will figure it all out.”
I reiterated, “I still want Melanie here at some point. If she turns thirty-five and is unmarked, I get her.” She snorted, “Thirty-five?! Trevor is going to mark her when she turns eighteen.” I laughed, “You think a daughter of a Beta will let that hapless pup mark her? She won’t.
She’s already a trained fighter and better than him.
” She explained, “When she doesn’t shift, we are going to tell her she’s not Drake’s daughter. ”
I shrugged, “Ok. That will hurt her, and I do like that, but you are discounting the stubbornness of Beta blood. I’m simply saying if she’s unmarked at thirty-five I get her.” Because it would KILL Drake if I marked his daughter, and she was mine.
She snorted, “It won’t happen but fine. If she’s unmarked at Thirty-five you can take your turn.” I grinned and she looked at me oddly. She asked, “Why do you look so happy?” I winked at her, “It’s nothing for you to worry about.”
It was because that meant Melanie would be mine to mark.
Trevor would not convince her to be his, ever.
Especially if he was mean to her and abused her, which I planned to have him do starting the second he lays eyes on her.
A Beta pup would NEVER stand for that. She knew what fated mates looked like and she knew he would never be able to raise a hand to her if it was true.
The representative stood and shook my hand, “I’ll be back to discuss the plan as it develops. Goodbye Alpha Ezra.” I dismissed her with a curt, “Bye.” She snorted, “You could use my name.” I called over my shoulder “I didn’t bother to learn it.”
I left with a smile on my face knowing one day Melanie McAlister would be mine and it would send Drake into an early grave. Melanie would be my evil mistress, and it would send Alexander Conners into a spiral, along with all the allies. It was certainly a good day to be me.
