"That's really cute," I said as I eyed the Tiffany charm bracelet.
We had finished brunch numerous hours ago, and I managed to purposefully rope everyone into window shopping—which turned into going into all the stores to shop.
Which was mostly Mya's doing, but I counted on that.
I knew that Mili was practically itching to get back home—mostly to see what I was up to.
So why not drag it out and make it worse for her?
Honestly, the bathroom talk we had seemed to be somewhat beneficial.
Especially since Lana said bye to us all with a friendly wave targeted at Mili—who didn't even spare her one glance, much less a bye back.
"Do you want it?"
I looked over to my girlfriend who was now taking the bracelet off the display for a closer look.
I shook my head, "No-no, I just thought it was cute," I said, knowing that if I said one word about wanting it, she would one hundred percent buy it for me.
And I'm not a Tiffany expert, but a bracelet like that was at least six hundred dollars.
Mili gave me a tilted look, "So you do want it?" she pointed out, clearly clinging to the fact that I called it cute.
I blinked a few times, unsure of how to backtrack—I mean, the bracelet was cute, and I wouldn't mind having it...
I just felt weird about Mili spending money on me, even if she's already done it so much recently.
She's literally about to take me on another trip—she recently got me a Louis Vuitton bag, a Cartier bracelet, Chanel sunglasses, and even a new Macbook which she seemed to surprise me with.
I had legit complained once that my previous Mac was acting up, and that's what she does.
"It's cute but it doesn't mean—"
"Ana, come look at this purse really fast," I heard Mya's familiar voice call out.
I suddenly glanced over to Mya who was standing at the door of the store, clearly waiting to take me over to the store that she and Nate ventured off to.
A smile grew on my lips, suddenly feeling thankful for one of Mya's interruptions.
"I'll be back in a second," I told Mili, who pressed a fleeting kiss to my temple as I walked over to her sister.
Soon I was in the Chanel store with Mya and Nate, helping Mya choose between three different purses all in different hues of grey.
Without Nate or me there, I genuinely believe Mya would've bought all three due to her indecisiveness.
Luckily, she ended up deciding on a soft white-grey—which I thought was beautiful.
But you won't catch me saying that out loud near my girlfriend or her sister.
Next thing I know, I'll have a Chanel bag too.
"I like the color," Mili said as she analyzed the bag that Mya showed her.
"It's cute isn't it?" Mya said as her smile grew.
My girlfriend nodded, suddenly looking over to me, "Did you see anything you liked?" she asked as she slid her arm around my waist.
I shook my head, "Not really," I said, and it wasn't necessarily a lie.
I didn't exactly look around the store.
Mya playfully rolled her eyes, "It's the Chanel store—what isn't there to like?" she joked, her tone completely light as Nate helped her pack the expensive bag back into its rightful box.
Meanwhile, I was practically staring daggers at Mya—hoping she wouldn't say anything else.
However, my stare was quickly interrupted when Mili revealed a bag that she had been holding in her other hand.
Tiffany & Co.
Was written on the blue bag—and I knew exactly what was in it.
"Milan," I sighed with a deadpan look.
My girlfriend's lips curved into an amused smile, "You said it was cute, baby," she reminded me as she handed me the delicate bag.
I shook my head, "How much was it?" I questioned as I met her soft brown eyes.
Mili only hummed as she slid her other arm around my waist, easily pulling me closer to her body.
"It doesn't cost anything when it makes you happy," Mili murmured as she leaned down into me for a kiss.
I let out a soft sigh, hating how warm her words made me feel.
If she hadn't fucked up this morning—I would've already been on my knees for her.
But no, I have to dish out lessons so my girlfriend can behave herself.
Who would've thought?
"I still haven't forgotten about brunch," I reminded her as I gently pecked her lips.
Mili slid her hand up my back, humming against my lips, "Let's just call it even, baby."
I smirked slightly against her soft lips, knowing that she was clearly worried about what I had planned.
"Even?" I hummed, pressing another kiss to her lips, "For the bracelet?" I clarified.
Mili kissed me back, "Fuck the bracelet—" she nipped softly at my bottom lip, "—I'll put you in all the positions you want," she murmured against my lips before suddenly moving past my face and down to my neck.
And as soon as her warm lips sucked down softly on my skin, I had to physically urge myself to not give in.
"Just tell me how you want it baby and you can have it," Mili murmured against my skin.
I drew in a deep breath, clenching my jaw as I forced myself to hold some type of restraint.
Mili hummed as soon as I leaned further into her, "I want it rough," I whispered in her ear, softening my tone in a way that I knew would make everything inside of her grow hot, "I want your mouth all over me while your hands hold me in place and force me to take it all."
And when I suddenly pulled back to meet Mili's eyes, I had to force myself to remain somewhat serious—especially with her raised brows and slightly parted lips.
She looked so... caught off guard.
I think she expected me to push her away, or to even decline her offer.
Which I still was planning to do.
"It's a shame that you couldn't act right earlier," I murmured, keeping my tone innocent as I fluttered my lashes up at her.
Within a split second, Mili's brows were lowered back down and her jaw was tightened as she forced herself to look away from me.
"Atiana, don't do this to me."
Her voice was lowered and barely audible as her grip tightened around my waist.
I admired her side profile, taking in the way she couldn't even look at me right now without losing her composure.
"I'm only repaying a favor baby—remember that, yeah?" I murmured, pressing a soft kiss to her neck before pulling out of her hold completely.
And as I looked back over to Mya and Nate who had just tied the black Chanel shopping bag shut, Mili's eyes suddenly seemed to burn into the side of my face.
"I was thinking we hit a few more stores?" I purposefully said, "Maybe we could even grab some ice cream somewhere?"
A smile grew on Mya's lips, "That sounds like a perfect idea," she said, easily earning a nod from Nate.
Mili hummed, "I don't know, I'm kind of out of it," she said, and it was obvious that she was now trying to fight me at my own game.
I suddenly looked over to my girlfriend, "If you don't feel well baby, you can always head home. I completely understand," I assured her, knowing that she wouldn't go for it.
If she did, I wouldn't know what to do—one thing about us is that we constantly like to be around each other.
Classes are the only thing that gets in between that.
"No," Mili said through tight teeth, "I guess I'll be fine for another hour or two," she added, easily earning a small satisfied smile from me.
I hummed, looking down at my phone that read 4:23 pm.
"Maybe we could shop a little more and grab dinner and drinks instead," I suggested.
And just like that, Mili's stare was back on me—clearly contemplating just dragging me home with no explanation whatsoever.
Mya nodded a few times, "Totally, I know this one place nearby that you guys would love," she said as she looped her arm with Nate's.
Mili forced a closed smile, "Sounds good to me," she said, and it was hard to miss the frustration laced in her voice.
I couldn't stop my smile from growing wider as I slid my arm around her lean torso—easily leaning into her side as we all began venturing off to the next store.
With each store that we entered, I seemed to touch Mili even more—from running my hand up and down her back—to pressing soft kisses on her neck or cheek whenever I had a chance.
It felt like with each action, she got stiffer and stiffer—which seemed to satisfy me even more.
By the time we were at dinner, Mili looked so over it that I questioned just giving in and going home early.
But then everything with Lana flashed through my head—specifically the moment when my girlfriend smiled at her.
"Atiana."
My girlfriend's voice was lowered and tight in a warning as she leaned into my ear.
I hummed running my foot down her leg, "What? Is your drink no good?" I questioned, even if I knew why her patience was running lower and lower by the second.
Playing footsies with her under the table was definitely another step that I didn't need to take.
But I just couldn't help myself.
"I'm telling you right now—" Mili leaned further into my ear as her hand settled at the back of my neck, easily sending shivers crawling down my spine, "—One more move and I swear I'm dragging you out of here."
I bit down on the inside of my cheek, mostly to contain the heat growing in my lower stomach, but also to somewhat keep my strength.
That she seemed to take with one full swoop.
It made me question if she was just allowing it at this point.
And that just wasn't something I could have.
I suddenly rested my hand on her thigh, pulling away to meet her eyes as I said, "I'm just enjoying the ride, baby. Remember?"
Mili's jaw grew tighter, drawing in a deep breath as I subtly slid my hand further up her thigh.
I'll probably pay for this at a later time—but tonight is mine.
And I'm going to prove that point to her.
