Page 80 of HER SISTER

"I just can't believe you turned my sister into a lover girl," Mya admitted as we stood in the elevator.

I couldn't stop my smile from growing, "She's just so.... ugh," I gushed, clearly lovesick.

Which I was.

I was also slightly drunk.

My plans for not getting drunk were thrown out of the window as soon as I tried that amazing espresso martini.

One sip led to another... and another—and another.

It was hard to slow down when we were both sipping and talking.

"Even if I never imagined you two getting together—you really complement each other," Mya said as the elevator dinged open.

My smile grew into a grin, "That means so much to me Mya bear," I said, side-hugging her as we walked down the familiar hallway.

Mya giggled, "You know I hate when you call me that—you sound just like my parents," she said, shaking her head at me as we approached the tall door.

I only laughed as I knocked on the matte black door, "But it's such a cute nickname," I said, leaning on the door slightly to relieve my loose body.

"Maybe but—"

A gasp fell from my lips when the door opened, easily causing me to stumble slightly to catch my composure.

But before I could manage to steady myself, Mili's hands were instinctively on my waist and supporting me.

"I tell you not to drink too much and this is what happens," Mili said, looking between Mya and me.

I smiled, "I told you I wasn't making any promises," I pointed out as I slid my arms around her torso.

Mili only shook her head, "I don't know what I expected to happen from a night out with my sister," she determined as she backed into her loft with me practically clinging onto her and Mya following us in.

"Hey! What is that supposed to mean?" Mya defensively questioned, but it was clear that she wasn't serious.

I giggled, "It means that you're so fun to hang out with," I said, easily earning an eye roll from Mili.

Mya only sent Mili a wide smile, "And I'll be even more fun to hang with in Cairo bitches!" Mya called out as she shimmied her shoulders, easily earning more giggles from me.

Meanwhile, Mili only managed to give us both a narrowed look, "I don't think so," she said, clearly shutting the idea down.

I frowned dramatically, "She would only visit for a week—she already found a cute hotel too," I said, knowing Mya and I had planned it all over drinks.

"Yeah, you can't take Ana away from me for three months, M," Mya pointed out with a narrowed look.

Mili suddenly looked over to me—and I couldn't miss the puppy dog eyes she was suddenly giving me.

God do I love her face so much.

I couldn't even stop myself from cupping her beautiful face in my hands, "You're the cutest ever," I murmured, pressing kisses all over her face.

A soft laugh fell from Mili's lips as I pressed the flutter-like kisses all over her soft skin, "Cute enough to see my sister when we get back?" she subtly questioned.

And I somehow found myself humming, "Yes, of cour—"

"Ana, come on—imagine the shopping sprees in Cairo," Mya tried to convince me.

And I couldn't help but pause my actions as I looked back over to Mya, "Yeah you're—"

"I'll drop ten bands on you in one day. You don't need my sister," Mili quickly cut me short before I could agree.

Mya crossed her arms over her chest, "What about us chilling poolside like we talked about?" she said, clearly arguing Mili's point.

And before I could say anything, Mili was pulling me into her warm body, "What about me fucking you poolsi—"

"Milan," I whined, feeling my face grow so red I thought it might burn off.

Meanwhile, Mya only managed to shake her head, clearly still bent on winning the argument, "It won't hit the same without your best friend there," she pointed out.

And I couldn't help but nod in agreement.

Well, until Mili said, "But I'm also your best friend—really it's like a two for one."

I blinked a few times, looking between the two as they looked at me to seemingly make a choice.

How did I manage to end up in the middle of all this?

I sighed slightly, recalling Mya's past situations with Mili and her friends.

It would only be for a week out of three months.

And the last thing I wanted was for Mya to feel left out.

"It's only for a week," I said, looking over to Mili.

And my words alone managed to make a smile light up on Mya's face.

Meanwhile, my girlfriend seemed to be full-on pouting.

I actually can't believe this right now.

"Baby it'll be fun," I assured her, gently running my hands up her toned arms.

Mili only whined, "I don't want to share you," she pouted.

And I couldn't stop myself from kissing her soft pouty lips, finding her efforts completely cute.

Mya laughed, "You better get used to it—Ana's my other half," she joked, easily earning a narrowed look from me, which was basically a cue for her to be quiet.

Mya had a point about sharing but now wasn't the time to prove it.

Mili shot her sister a distasteful look, "She's actually my other half," she corrected her.

Mya only flicked her hair over her shoulder, "Well, she's my soul sister," she argued back.

Mili raised a brow, "Oh, are we talking about souls now?" she questioned with a subtle smirk, "Because I was snatching hers just last ni—"

"Milan," I whined out yet again.

This time Mili managed to laugh at the obvious blush coating my features, and I swear I couldn't fight the heat growing on my face if I tried.

Mya shook her head, "You better learn how to share for real," she determined.

Mili only shrugged, "You remember the last time we were forced to share?" she asked her sister, clearly referring to a specific memory, "I cut off the hair of all your Barbie dolls and mom never made us share again."

My brows shot up, suddenly reaching for my hair, and the action alone made them both look at me.

And just like that, they both fell into a fit of laughter.

Yet I could only remain serious.

"I'm not getting in the middle of your little sibling rivalry," I determined as more laughs fell from both their lips.

Mili's laughter died down, "Of course, I mean, you're mine anyways," she pointed out, looking back to her sister as if to say she was still bent on not sharing.

Great, so we're back to square one.

Mya let out an irritated sigh, "Well she was mine first—you forget I met her before you," she said in a sarcastic tone.

Mili shrugged, "That's not relevant since she's mine now," she countered back.

Mya raised a brow, "Is she only yours though?" she asked, suddenly looking to me as she said, "When are you coming back to our apartment?"

I blinked a few times, suddenly realizing I hadn't been back there in a couple of weeks.

"Probably sometime this week," I determined, easily causing Mya to shoot Mili a cocky look.

Mili whined again, "But I want you here," she said, easily causing a small smile to grow on my lips.

It's just something about clinginess that's so attractive to me.

Mya laughed, "Oh yeah? Then stand on business like a big girl and ask her to move in," she said, clearly trying to one-up her sister in any way possible.

And I swear it felt like I was watching two countries go into a debate before a full-on war was about to get drafted.

Mili only rolled her eyes at her sister, "I'm not going to ask her that just to prove a point to you," she argued back with a raised brow, "We'll cross that bridge when we're ready."

Mya hummed, "Oh? Or maybe you're scared she'll say no?" she taunted her sister.

And I couldn't help but step in before things managed to get worse, "She is in the room right now, and she thinks we should settle this tomorrow," I said.

Mili nodded, "My girlfriend has an excellent point," she emphasized, easily making me shake my head at her.

Mya rolled her eyes, "Whatever," she said, reaching for one of the cabinets.

Mili raised a brow at her sister as I leaned into her—easily resting the side of my cheek against her chest.

"What are you doing?" Mili asked her sister as her hand gently ran up and down my back.

Mya suddenly grabbed the unopened bottle of Hennessy, "Consider this your compensation for the argument you just forced me to partake in," she said, easily earning a laugh from me.

Mili only rolled her eyes, "Just take it and get out so I can get my girlfriend into bed," she said, motioning her head over to the door.

Mya smiled happily, "Yay, I love lover girl Mili—I'll catch you guys in the morning," she said.

Mili raised a skeptical brow at her sister who happily walked to the door.

"Tell your sneaky link I said hi," I called out to Mya.

"I will—love you guys!" Mya called over her shoulder as she opened the door.

"Love you," Mili and I said in sync.

And almost as soon as Mya was out of the loft, I was leaning away from Mili's chest to kiss her soft lips.

Mili hummed as her hands settled at my waist that she gripped in place, "I don't recall letting you leave earlier looking this good," she murmured against my lips.

I giggled slightly as Mili pressed me back against the nearest counter, "Flattery gets you nowhere," I said as Mili sucked down on my bottom lip.

"I don't know it feels like it gets me pretty far," she said, easily trailing kisses past my lips and down my neck.

I hummed when she managed to slide her hands up from my hips to cup my boobs.

Mili suddenly pulled back to look down at my chest, "Seriously, how did I let you leave without taking this off of you?" she questioned more to herself.

I couldn't help but laugh slightly, "You're funny," I said, leaning back up into her for a deeper kiss.

Mili hummed as she kissed my lips back, "And you're drunk," she reminded us both, basically shutting any of my sexual ideas down.

I dramatically groaned, "Don't do this," I murmured against her lips, "We've had sex before when we were drunk."

Mili only pulled away slightly from the kiss, "Emphasis on we," she reminded me, "It doesn't feel right when you're the only one drunk, Ati," she explained, and I guess I understood what she meant.

Even still, I managed to give her a narrowed look—

Until an idea popped into my head.

Mili furrowed her brows slightly when I managed to slide out of her hold before walking over to the kitchen.

And as soon as I opened the cabinet that Mya had previously grabbed a bottle of Hennessy out of, Mili managed to say, "You're really dangerous, you know that?"

I smirked as I sat the bottle of Casamigos on the counter, "Come be dangerous with me beautiful," I said as I grabbed some shot glasses.

Mili shook her head at me, inevitably sighing to herself as she walked over to me.

A smile grew on my lips as she stood beside me, watching as I carefully poured her a shot.

Mili hummed, taking the filled shot from my extended hand before she said, "If I take this, you're getting back shots."

My brows automatically raised at her boldness, and even the image of her behind me managed to send warmth to every single inch of my body, specifically my most sensitive region.

"Bottoms up then," I said, raising a challenging brow at her.

Mili lazily raised her brows before letting them fall back down—easily raising the shot glass to her lips before throwing it back.
