Page 28 of HER SISTER

My brows furrowed as soon as the alarm sounded from the nightstand—forcing my tired eyes open as I turned it back off.

A deep sigh fell from my lips, forcing myself to wake up as I took in my surroundings.

And I couldn't help but smile to myself, noticing I was in Mili's bed with her arms secured around my waist while her warm body remained pressed to the back of mine.

My stomach did literal somersaults—feeling so overwhelmed with happiness.

Everything felt perfect.

Even mornings seemingly felt perfect at Mili's.

From the glowing sunrise shining in from one of the large windows to the warmness of the bed and Mili's body.

Everything was perfectly still—and Mili somehow smelt so good.

I could smell her typical coconut hair product combined with her usual sweet cologne.

I swear I could stay here forever.

But—

I have to go say goodbye to Mya, who I lied to again about staying with the friend that I seemingly hung out with last night after leaving the going away party.

A groan vibrated in Mili's throat, feeling me gently pull out of her grasp.

"It's too early," she said, pulling me back into her warm body.

And god was her raspy morning voice so unbelievably beautiful.

I couldn't help but laugh slightly, "I have to say goodbye to Mya," I pointed out.

Mili only nuzzled her head into the crook of my neck, "Technically, you don't have to do anything," she murmured, holding me tighter to her body.

"But she would be so upset if I didn't make it," I pointed out.

Mili hummed, "But I would be more upset if you left me all alone in this bed," she pointed out.

I couldn't help but smile to myself, "I'm assuming you weren't great at sharing as a kid," I joked, imagining her and Mya arguing over every little thing.

"I wasn't then and I'm not now," Mili said, clearly not ashamed of that fact.

I only laughed again, shaking my head to myself as I pulled out of her arms for the second time.

But this time, Mili not only pulled me back down to her—she also managed to flip me around to face her.

And even the sight of her tired eyes and slightly frizzy hair was jaw-dropping. How does someone wake up so perfect?

"Perhaps I could persuade you not to go..." Mili suddenly trailed off as she leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to my lips.

I hummed, "You're a really bad influence, Milan."

Mili only smirked against my lips, "So I've been told," she said.

And before I could say anything else in rebuttal, I was suddenly being guided to straddle Mili's warm body.

My face grew achingly warm as Mili carefully stared up at me—slowly trailing her hands up my thighs.

"Mili..." I trailed off as her hands inched higher and higher up my toned thighs, which were left slightly exposed by Mili's baggy t-shirt that I borrowed.

"Hmm?" Mili hummed in question, trailing her hands past my waist and up the sides of my arms.

I only remained quiet, holding her intense stare as she trailed her fingers past my shoulders and down the sides of my torso—passing my ribcage before her hands settled back at my waist that she gripped in place.

It was odd how I could still feel the warmth of her touch all over me.

"Go tell Mya goodbye—after that, I want you back here and all to myself," she carefully instructed, easily earning a few nods from me.

I definitely didn't mind coming back here to spend the rest of my morning with Mili.

Besides, it's only six in the morning—I could only imagine how Mya and everyone else feels, especially after last night.

They honestly should've had that going away party on Saturday instead of Sunday.

I went to climb off of Mili's lap—but not before she pulled me back down for another brief kiss.

"See you in..." she trailed off against my lips, clearly wanting a time frame.

I smiled as we pulled back slightly, "Probably an hour," I said, knowing that we weren't across campus or anything—Mili's place was probably a ten-minute walk, if that, to where they were loading up everything at the campus's main entrance.

The only thing that would take me longer would be showering and changing into comfy clothes.

Mili hummed, "An hour," she repeated back to me, pressing another kiss to my lips before she said, "There's a spare toothbrush in the bathroom—you definitely need it."

And I couldn't miss the teasing tone she had taken with me.

I dramatically scoffed, "Wow okay, no more morning kisses for you," I determined, giving her a playful narrowed look.

Mili only laughed, "I was kidding—I swear," she defended, pulling me back down into another kiss.

But I only turned my head.

"Nah, it's too late for all that," I said, pulling away from her completely as I climbed off the bed.

And the action alone forced Mili to suddenly stand from the bed with me, pulling me back into her.

"You better not leave without giving me a goodbye kiss," she said, turning me around to face her.

I only raised a sharp brow, "I think you've gotten plenty of those," I pointed out, realizing that her love language was definitely touch.

I had never met someone who had to constantly touch me.

And to me, it was so cute.

Mili only hummed, "On the contrary—I don't think I've gotten enough," she said, leaning down into me.

Well, until I suddenly wiggled out of her hold and ran into her attached bathroom.

"Atiana," she called out, and I could tell that I had pressed her nerves.

I only laughed to myself, searching for one of the spare toothbrushes that she was talking about.

Until Mili seemingly opened one of the black wooden drawers and handed me one.

"Thank y—"

But I was cut short when she suddenly pressed me back against the dark counter.

Just like that, my body heated up with an insane amount of warmth.

But I only pushed it away as I looked up at her with a devious smirk, "Oh, are you going to do something about it?" I said, knowing she refused to touch me last night.

Mili's jaw visibly tightened as she stared down at me with a narrowed look, "You know I can't," she said, easily boosting my ego.

I had won whatever little game we were playing.

My brows furrowed when Mili suddenly flipped me around to face the mirror—pressing the front of her body to the back of mine.

"But I could always tell you," she murmured, carefully looking at me through the mirror.

And I couldn't miss the sudden uptake in my heart rate or the way my face burned red.

Mili hummed, sliding her hands up the sides of my body, "Metaphorically speaking—if, I were to take you right here—" she suddenly grabbed the back of my neck, guiding me down until I was bent over the counter, "—I would have you just like this—oh wait.

.." she suddenly trailed off, sliding her hand around the back of my neck to angle my head up so I could properly see her in the mirror.

And even the view of her behind me sent shivers crawling down my spine.

Mili hummed in approval, "I'd have you like this, so you could look at me while I watch all the beautiful faces you make—until finally your eyes roll shut and... well, you get the picture," she finally finished off.

And I swear, my legs felt so numb and tingly, feeling overwhelmed by just the image she put into my head.

Suddenly, I was very aware of an ache between my legs.

"Mili," I said breathlessly, hating that she just got the upper hand.

But god she could have the upper hand if it meant she'd make that visual happen.

Mili only hummed, "We'll have to make that happen someday," she concluded, suddenly guiding me to stand back up as she took a step back from me.

I gave her a narrowed look as I turned around to face her, "Mili you can't—"

But I was cut short when she pressed a soft and fleeting kiss to my lips before saying, "Have fun saying your goodbyes—I'll see you when you get back."

And before I could protest, she was out of the bathroom, leaving me completely speechless.
