Page 96 of B is for Beg
Gabe rolls his eyes. “Don’t push your luck.” He leans over Blake to kiss me. “I’m happy to spend the day here with our boy, just maybe not in bed the whole time.”
Blake makes a disappointed noise.
I laugh. “I’ll let you figure it out between yourselves. I’d better go shower. Don’t have too much fun without me.”
I stand and stretch and then turn around to stare at them. Blake has snuggled closer to Gabe. They’re stroking each other lazily. They look so beautiful. Their bodies fit together perfectly.
“Scratch that. Have as much fun as you want. You two are stunning together.”
“I’m going to sleep more first,” Blake says.
His eyes are already closed, and he looks completely relaxed. I don’t doubt that he’ll be asleep again before I’m out of the shower.
Gabe smiles at me. “I’ll take good care of our boy.”
“I know you will.” And I’ll have fun imagining him doing so.

Calvin and Gabe love me. I sigh happily as I sip a mug of hot chocolate. I’m standing by the patio doors, watching the birds eat the seed we put in a cheap plastic bird feeder we got from the supermarket. I’m hardly ever up this early, so it’s not a sight I get to see often. Okay, I’ve never been up early enough to see this many birds.
Blake:Are either of you awake?
Calvin:Just about. I didn’t think you liked mornings?
Blake:I don’t normally. Do you and Daddy want to go out for Sunday dinner today?
Gabe:What’s the occasion?
Blake:Introducing the men I love to my brothers and niece.
Calvin:Let us know when and where, and we’ll be there, princess.
Blake:I’ll let you know.
“Morning,” I say as Corey walks into the room.
He yelps and clutches his chest. “You scared the crap out of me. What are you doing up?”
I glare at him.
“Have you been up all night?” Corey asks.
“No. I wanted to talk to you before Lexi gets up.”
Corey regards me suspiciously, then shakes his head. “What about?” He pulls a packet of cereal out of the cupboard and pours some into a bowl.
“I want you all to meet my Doms.”
He pauses and stares at me. “We’ve met them.”
“Briefly.”
“Didn’t Archie go for a drink with them?”
“Well, yes, butyouhaven’t met them properly, and nor has Lexi.”
