Page 49 of B is for Beg
“And you, princess?” I ask. “Any fantasies?”
He glances between us. “I want to see you kiss.” His cheeks become pink again.
My heart rattles in my chest. I can’t untangle the bundle of emotions I’m feeling right now to know if I like that prospect or if it scares me rigid.
“That’s all?” Gabe asks.
Blake nods. “It would be hot, watching you kiss. Beyond that, I’m happy for you to take the lead. I’m yours. Use me.”
Well, damn if that’s not the sexiest thing I’ve ever heard. I regret pouring us all wine now, especially as I’ve drunk half of my first generous glass already. I have a strict rule—no playing if either I or my sub has been drinking. It’s just not worth the risk. Even when I don’t think I’m drunk, I know my brainpower isn’t up to par.
“That was nice,” Gabe says, pushing his empty bowl away. “My compliments to the chef. Do you want to watch a film together?”
“Could we play a game?” Blake asks. “To get to know each other better?”
“A game?” I ask.
“Yeah. Two truths and a lie. We take it in turns to set a topic, and we have to guess each other’s lies.”
“Sounds fun,” Gabe says.
“All right, but I think we should spice it up a bit,” I say.
“How, Sir?”
“If we guess wrong, we have to take something off.”
“Strip two truths and a lie?” Blake asks.
“Yes.”
“What about once someone’s naked? What then?”
I purse my lips. I hadn’t thought that far ahead. I just want to see what pretty lingerie Blake is wearing today.
“Can I suggest something, Sir?”
“Of course, princess.”
“Once we’re naked, if we guess wrong, we have to kiss our opponent.”
“Kiss?” Gabe asks, raising his eyebrows. “Where?”
Blake shrugs. “Anywhere. Or maybe the person whose lie we’re guessing gets to decide.”
I can see where this is going. Blake wants to see us kiss, and he’s probably thinking this will be a fun way to get that to happen. My thoughts are still chaotically tangled, but okay.
“I’m game,” I say.
“You do realise Cal and I will have an unfair advantage,” Gabe says. “We know quite a bit about each other already.”
“I know,” Blake says. “But neither of you know much about me.”
I grab another bottle of wine from the fridge, and we move to sit on the sofa. At least Gabe and I do. Blake sits on the rug near our feet, leaning on one hand as he smiles up at us. I could definitely get used to having a sub stare at me so adoringly.
“I’ll choose the first topic,” I say. “Gabe, you can give us your answers first. Blake, we both guess on three.”
“Yes, Sir.”
