Page 70 of B is for Beg
I don’t want our boy fretting about the status of our relationship. He’s ours, exclusively.
Blake:We can’t do anything, though. I mean… no sexy stuff. Not with Lexi sleeping upstairs. Corey would freak if she caught us.
Gabe:Understood.
It’s not as if parents the world over don’t have sex while their kids are sleeping—or maybe even awake if they’re quiet about it—but I get that Blake doesn’t want to run the risk of upsetting his brother. And being caught naked with two guys would be pretty hard to explain to a five-year-old.
Blake:I’ll understand if you don’t want to come.
Cal:Why wouldn’t we?
Blake:Because we won’t be able to do anything.
Gabe:Oh, baby boy. There’s lots we can do that doesn’t involve sex.
Cal:Like talking.
Gabe:Playing a game.
Blake:The last game we played ended with us all naked and jacking off.
Gabe:Not that kind of game. I was thinking more like Scrabble or Monopoly.
Cal:I call the dog if we do.
Gabe:Or we could watch a film together.
Blake:I’m good with anything as long as I get to see you.
Blake:Fuck, that sounded needy. Sorry.
Gabe:Go ahead and be needy. We want to see you too.
Blake:Lexi will be in bed by 8, so come over any time after that?
He sends us his address.
Gabe:We’ll be there, baby boy.
I’m looking forward to seeing his home and spending time with him and Cal.
Blake:I was good today.
Gabe:Oh?
Blake:I got up early to take Lexi to the cinema so Corey could sleep in.
Gabe:Oh, so that’s why we got your pretty underwear shot so early?
Blake:Yeah. I had to get up at 7:30. 7:30!!!! Anyway, she had popcorn, and I took her for ice cream and McDonald’s afterwards.
Cal:That doesn’t sound like being good, princess.
Blake:I didn’t have any of it. I just sat and watched her eat. I was practically in tears, by the way, just so you both know. It all looked and smelt so good.
Gabe:Well done, baby boy. But I hope you ate something.
Blake:Salad.
