Page 190 of Serpent In White
I want this eternal.
“Me too,” Darian sighs next to me, nestling up to my side. I rest my head on his shoulder.
“Me three,” Abdiel whispers, curling up on both of us as Drake pulls out of him.
The three of us look up at Drake while he catches his breath, black hair falling in his snake eyes.
“Well?” Darian growls.
Drake smirks. “Me four.”
The two of them chuckle as he crashes down on Darian, knocking the wind out of him until he goesoof.
I can’t help but giggle and bite my lip as I watch them.
They’re here, together. They’re finallyhere.
MaybeImade that happen…

The trilling song of morning birds rustles me from my slumber. And I’m instantly hit with the feminine scent of flowers, and sex, and the earth.
Lifting my head a bit, I notice that we’re still in the clearing, surrounded by the pale glow of early dusk. My first thought is to check for the black rock.
Peering over, I don’t see it. It’s not there.
I’m not sure what that means…
It’s not like it ever truly leaves. It comes and goes as it needs to. But maybe Darian was right… Instead of feeding it blood and death, we fed it sex and love. Lust and pleasure and good things. Could it make a difference?Maybe.
Either way, regardless of the sacrifice I made, the sacrifices we all made, this spot will always be filled with the unknown.
And the thing about the unknown is that it’s inherently balanced. Good and bad are always possible. Darkness and light… it doesn’t matter.
But whatdoesmatter is that these people made a sacrifice for me last night. They agreed that I no longer need to be the martyr. Abdiel saw the truth of what happened, when I watched his parents jump to their deaths. And he doesn’t blame me.
Maybe I still blame myself… I’m not sure that will ever go. But he loves me anyway. And I love him…
I love Darian.
I think I could even love Rhiannon someday. She’s a new addition to our world, only present for a few days. It will take us all time to get used to her, but she fits. And if Darian approves, well… who are we to argue with the King?
Speaking of the girl, her tits are smooshing into my stomach, which makes me chuckle to myself. Glancing down, I see her unruly head of pinkish blonde hair resting on my chest. There’s a blanket tangled around us—she and Abdiel brought it, thank God, because otherwise, we’d be out here, covered by nothing but our good intentions.
Her face lifts, wide eyes twinkling up at me. I can’t do much more than blink.
A deep groan pulls my attention from the wonder shimmering in those teal irises, and I peer left. A chill of arousal zips through my stomach.
Not more than five feet from where we’re lying, Darian is on his knees in the dirt, Abdiel behind him, buried deep.
Abdiel is holding Darian’s throat with one hand, gripping him by the pectoral with the other. His chest to Darian’s back while he whispers things in my brother’s ear, plowing him slowly, ferociously consecrated in his thrusts.
I can barely fathom that the kid was a virgin a few weeks ago, because now he’s a beast. A forest god, built for fucking and cuddling. The thought widens my smile.
I love my little mouse.
“Love you, too,” he pants, voice hoarse in between the slaps of his pelvis on Darian’s ass.
