“Behave,” Lincoln warned. All he got was a smirk in return from Luca.

“So what are you and my papa up to that requires you to bring out the big guns?” Linc asked, eyebrows raised.

“Your papa had an awesome idea, and well, it’s just perfect,” Luca enthused.

“Right, and the idea would be?”

“We move in here,” Luca said simply.

If Luca had told him it was raining blood, he would have been less surprised.

But they’d managed to convince him, so here he was five month later, back home. Granted, he was now in the master side of the house. His papa having moved out to a set of rooms in another part of the house, which he’d redecorated, with the photo of his wedding to Linc’s papa, still at his bedside.

But he was happier than he’d been thirteen months ago when Linc cooked up the crazy idea to bring home a fake date. Lincoln realized if his papa had loved his dad the way Lincoln loved Luca, well he selfishly hoped he was the one to go first.

But Reese had chased some of the shadows in Linc’s papa’s eyes, and for now, that would have to be enough.

Lincoln went to say goodnight to his daughter, who was already asleep, he tried his best to make it home for bedtime. But even if he didn’t, he always spent a couple of minutes telling her how loved she was.

He covered her up again, then tiptoed out of the nursery.

Linc walked the short distance to his bedroom and the sight of Luca on all fours in bed waiting for him, nearly had Lincoln swallowing his tongue.

“Hey, love,” Linc said, removing his clothes as he strode to the bed.

“Been waiting for you,” Luca said.

“I see that.”

Lincoln couldn’t stop the groan that escaped as he took in his omega face down, ass up.

As he got on the bed and pushed into Luca’s already slick hole, and pulled Luca up to his chest so that he could seal their lips together, he had never been so glad to find his not-at-all temporary omega.
