“He’s in town. He said he would try stopping by, but I don’t think this is quite his scene,” Linc replied.

“It would be nice to see him outside a boardroom,” Nickolas pointed out.

“You know he hasn’t been the same since, him,” Grayson replied.

Nick nodded. They all knew what he was speaking about, they just never spoke of it.

Before they could add anything else, there was a commotion where the omegas were sitting.

“Ooooo, I think his water just broke,” Riley squealed at a decibel that shouldn’t have been possible.

Linc may have elbowed someone in his mad dash to get to Luca’s side, but he got there before the echo of Riley’s squeal faded.

“Babe,” Linc knelt beside Luca. “Are you okay?”

Lincoln looked over at Jai, “Is he okay? Someone tell me he’s okay.”

“I’m sure Luca would, Son, if you gave him a chance to reply,” Jules, Linc’s papa said dryly.

“I’m fine,” Luca replied, then lowered his voice for Linc’s ears alone. “Everything is perfect, but our daughter is coming.”

“She’s early,” Lincoln said.

“Nope, she’s right on time,” Luca smiled.

“This is the moment we’ve been waiting for, huh,” Linc whispered.

“Uh huh, but I think you gotta get me to a hospital first, I have a feeling Riley and Grayson didn’t include birth coach when they planned this baby shower,” Luca jokingly pointed out.

Linc was surprised by how calm Luca was being, he’d been expecting, well, screaming and cursing.

“Come on guys,” Harrison, Luca’s alpha father said. “It’s about to be grandpapa time.”

* * *

Well there washis screaming and cursing.

They’d made it to the hospital pretty quickly; three grandparents and two excited papas.

When they checked Luca in, he was apparently fully dilated and any sort of drugs were out of the question.

Luca had insisted on his papa and Lincoln’s papa in the room for the birth and Linc couldn’t love his omega more for including his own dad too, even though Luca’s dad was back in the picture.

“Doing good, Luca, we just need one more big push with the next contraction,” Dr. Kelly encouraged.

Luca smiled up at him, and Lincoln couldn’t help it, he placed a kiss on his brow. “Gods, you’re stunning bringing our daughter into the world,” Linc whispered against Luca’s damp with perspiration skin. “I am more in love with you than I thought possible. Marry me.”

Luca froze, and so did he, “What?”

“Fuck,” Linc cursed, “I didn’t mean to say that.”

Luca looked at him quizzically, “You didn’t mean to ask me to marry you?”

“Now, here…” Linc replied.

“But you’re asking,” Luca confirmed.

Linc nodded.
