Luca shifted in his seat, the ache in his back becoming sharper… weird.
“You okay?” Riley asked as he watched Luca shift from side to side trying to relieve the pain.
“Yea, just some back pain, comes and goes,” He replied, before biting into his cupcake now that it had passed.
“Uh oh,” Riley and Jai said at the same time. Both of them looking at Luca with wide grins.
“What?” Luca’s brows furrowed. “What’s up?”

“Hey, man, thanks for today,” Lincoln said to his friend Grayson as they watched their omegas talking and laughing. “Luca loves everything he’s gotten, even though we told you guys to donate to omega charities and houses.”
“We did that too, but Riley insisted some toys and other knick knacks wouldn’t go amiss,” Grayson smiled, his eyes landing on his omega.
“Not that we need any more toys, but I’m sure baby Reese will thank her Uncle Riley and her Uncle Grayson,” Linc said smiling.
“Hey, what about me?” Nickolas walked up to where they stood by the double doors, observing the whole gathering.
“You too, Uncle Nic,” Lincoln said.
“Can’t believe we’re all married men now,” Nickolas smiled, the besotted look in his eyes as he looked on at Jai probably matching Lincoln’s.
“Not married, not even engaged,” Linc pointed out.
“Oh please,” Nickolas snorted, “those are just details. You and Luca are the definition of a coming soon announcement.”
“Right?” Grayson chimed in.
“He still deserves a proposal worthy of him,” Linc said, patting the pocket with the ring he’d been carrying around, waiting for the right time.
“Yeah.” Linc’s friends grinned at him, “Like I said, coming soon poster.”
“Hey.” Linc held up both hands in surrender. “I’m not arguing, I’d marry him right now if I could.”
“I’ve got to tell you, I was worried when I heard you and Luca got together. Especially because you felt the need to keep it secret and we all know how much you said you were happy being single,” Nickolas started.
“Yeah, I thought it would end badly and I would have Riley on my ass to beat you up or something for hurting his friend,” Grayson laughed at his own joke, “but now when I see the two of you together, you fit.”
“We fit?”
Lincoln knew they did. But he liked that his best friends saw it too.
“All that happy bachelor, anti-commitment stuff was BS,” Linc admitted to his friends. “But I guess I was just waiting for him.”
“Gods you’re whipped,” Grayson said and Nickolas provided the sound effect complete with the hand gestures.
“Fuck off, because I know you both are. I’ve seen the way you look at your men.”
“Let’s just say, we’re very lucky men, we’ve got a couple of great guys,” Nickolas said.
“Yeah,” both him and Grayson said at the same time and then burst out laughing.
“Is Drew going to show up for this or is he playing cowboy or cattle rancher in another part of the world?” Nickolas asked.
