Page 19 of Temporary Omega
Just thinking of the man had Linc very aware of his now straining morning wood. No, no! That couldn’t do. He refused to act like some sort of perv. He hadn’t brought the clearly distressed, vulnerable man to his home to take advantage of him.
He got out of bed and walked into his en suite, cursing his cock for doing what was completely natural, but for some reason this morning, it had him feeling like a perv when he recalled bits and pieces from his dreams the night before.
The most vivid part being Linc looking down at Luca’s titian, almost bronze hair, his pretty pink lips, and all that creamy skin. It was the curve of the omega’s back as he rode Linc’s cock.
No. No. No. He had no business thinking those things or even seeing the man like that. He was pregnant, vulnerable, and he was simply helping another human being out.
Linc stepped into the shower and blasted the cold water from all the jets. There was no way he was beating one out with the thoughts of Luca on his mind. He was better than that… wasn’t he?
He was. It was just, almost four months without sex had him a little jacked up, nothing more.
Linc rushed through his shower and getting ready. He figured a distraction was necessary while he waited for Luca to get up for the day.
Linc went into his office, booted his computer and decided a couple of hours answering emails and letting his assistant know he wouldn’t be at the office for the day was a good start.
As the sun came up, Linc stretched, and his stomach rumbled letting him know he hadn’t eaten and it was almost gone three hours since he’d been at the office.
He was glad that he’d had the foresight to let the concierge for the building know to get groceries for breakfast delivered before he’d gone to bed the night before. Not just for himself, but for Luca.
Linc could have called down to his building’s kitchen for breakfast, but he figured if Luca got up at night he may prefer to make something himself.
He made the mental note to check there were more than breakfast options available.
Linc didn’t know much about what pregnant people required, but he figured food was somewhere near the top of the list. He needed to find out if Luca needed help with seeing a doctor. After seeing the way the omega had been living, he would bet medical care had been difficult.
He should just make a list. Linc opened the notes app on his phone and began typing. After a short while, he’d gotten a nice list going that included clothes, doctors, baby books for himself, and a whole host of other things.
Linc paused in the middle of writing to make sure Luca had access to funds.
Fuck… what was he doing? This situation wasn’t permanent. He was simply supposed to figure out a way to help Luca after the omega helped him convince his papa that he was happily coupled.
Instead he was making plans that basically involved moving the man into his home.
What was he thinking?
Apparently he wasn’t, because Luca wasn’t his problem.
But maybe helping Luca could be his good deed for the year. But when did that involve moving him into your home? Linc looked at the list again and saw he’d noted picking a suitable room for a nursery.
He just needed food, then his brain would start working properly, and all the foolish thoughts would cease.
That was when he heard a crash from somewhere in the house. Linc jumped up and ran, worried Luca had hurt himself somehow.
Linc followed the sound of cursing to the kitchen where he found Luca bent over, cursing himself for his clumsiness.
Linc opened his mouth to speak but stilled, his attention caught by the fullness of the perfect ass, every line defined by the perfectly fitted jeans shaping its delicious curve.
“Fuck.”

Luca
As Luca had descended the stairs, he’d finally gotten a good look at the apartment, especially with the morning light coming through, and him not being as exhausted as the night before.
He’d been right when he told Linc that it was nothing like he expected. The place was a charming mix of contemporary and comfort. The large floor to ceiling windows illuminating the space beautifully.
Luca had expected a total bachelor pad, but this was the opposite, it was beautifully and comfortably furnished. He walked up to a shelf with framed pictures. He recognized a couple of the people in them from last night. There was Grayson, Nickolas, and a couple other alphas he’d met but couldn’t recall names of.
