Story: Killian De Luca
Twenty-Seven
Reign
I admire the long white dress that stops at my ankles. There is a small bow on the heart-line of the dress that just makes the dress even more beautiful. Small details matter when it comes to dresses.
Mama’s necklace is around my neck. It’s a silver chain with a small star pendant that has a blue diamond in the middle. Dyado gave it to her and after he died, she wanted me to have it, so I feel like I’m closer to him.
It’s been a day since we landed back in Bulgaria and preparations for my birthday party started before, we arrived. Events like birthday parties are a big thing but after France with Killian and dinner under the stars with him, I felt like that was enough and we didn’t need to do anything else.
Dinner under the stars with Killian was perfect and I don’t need anything more.
We had a nice steak dinner and crepes for dessert. After laying together, looking up at the stars, and kissing because Killian couldn’t keep his hands off me, we left the yacht and went back to the hotel.
We didn’t have sex or anything which I’m thankful for because I don’t want to rush things with Killian but at the same time, I’m always expecting something to happen, maybe because I do want something to happen.
I can’r seem to make my mind up with him.
He hasn’t kissed me much since being back in Bulgaria just because now we are under close surveillance with Papa and his guards watching Killian’s every move. But during dinner last night he would give me sneaky looks and trail his fingers along my thigh to make me blush and squirm.
Killian knows the effect he has on me, and that fact is so dangerous because he could make me kneel to him if he wanted to.
My mom just left the room after doing my makeup and helping me get ready. My hair is in loose curls and the makeup is light.
Looking in the mirror I can’t help but smile at myself, happy with how I look and how beautiful I feel.
The smile on my face feels different too. Sure, I’ve always smiled because I never had anything to be sad about but for some reason this smile doesn’t feel forced, it feels natural.
It doesn’t make sense to me.
A knock on my door makes me look away from the mirror. “Come in.” The door opens and Killian walks in. He’s wearing a white dress shirt, black trousers, and white Loro Piana shoes.
Killian’s hair isn’t styled, it never usually is because he’s always running his hands through the strands. Killian’s messy hair fits him well because although he is all about control, his hair is the only thing that isn’t in place or perfect like the rest of him.
Other than the tattoos, but I’m pretty sure those are because he wants people to be scared of him because somehow tattoos make men more intimidating.
I meet Killian’s eyes and he’s looking at me with a heated stare, not saying anything. He looks so dangerous and cruel with his dark hair and aura; it matches him perfectly.
“You look nice,” he compliments, which makes me blush a little.
“Thank you, so do you.” Killian closes the door. He doesn’t say anything as he walks closer to me. My room isn’t that spectacular, and I think this is the first time Killian has been in my room. I just have a bookshelf next to my white desk. There is a huge vase filled with white tulips on my desk and then you have my bed in the center of the room with white and blue bedding. “Is it busy outside?” I ask, trying to calm down my racing heart.
"There are a good amount of people.” I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding and look at myself in the mirror. Killian comes behind me and he looks down at me with those eyes again, those damn eyes. “You shouldn’t worry though because you look beautiful.”
I turn around to face Killian. His size compared to mine should make me feel unsafe but if anything, it makes me feel safer than I have with any other guy.
Killian isn’t a small guy; he has a good amount of muscle on him plus his height.
“Thank you, I’m glad you approve,” I joke.
“I would approve even if you were dressed in sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt.” Killian narrows his eyes to my lips before meeting my eyes again. “White looks good on you.”
“Black looks good on you,” I say, keeping the intense eye contact. It’s like Killian is undressing me with his eyes and it sends chills down my spine and makes my nipples pucker a little bit. Killian takes a step closer. “What are you doing?”
Killian doesn’t answer, instead he grabs my waist to pull me closer and he covers my lips with his.
My hands go to his chest, not to push him away but to hold on to him to keep me from falling.
I can feel my heartbeat in my ears if that’s even possible.
The kiss starts off as one simple kiss and then it turns into two.
Then three.
Four.
Five.
The world around us disappears and it’s only Killian and I.
Killian and Reign.
I like it.
I want to keep all the kisses Killian has given me in a jar just in case he ever decides to leave, I’ll still have his kisses.
Killian’s tongue runs over my lips, and I moan. His other hand trails to the side of my neck and he tangles his fingers through my hair, pushing my face closer to his.
Our hips rub against each other making Killian groan.
Yes.
He backs me into the bed, and I end up falling with Killian on top of me. His lips move down from my mouth, and they start making their way to my neck.
He kisses, licks, sucks, and bites.
I’m pretty positive I might get a hickey from how he’s sucking on my sweet spot. I clench my thighs together and moan softly.
“Fuck Reign, you’re making this so much harder for me,” he moans, moving back to my lips.
“Harder how?” I say in between kisses. “You’re the one who’s going to make me look like a mess in front of my family.”
“I approve of you looking like a mess, especially since I’m the one who causes it.”
Oh god.
