Page 99 of Broken Beauty
Ash's eyes look empty as he stares at me. “Right.” He walks in and seats himself on the couch a few inches away from me.
“What movie are we watching?” Jace asks before sitting on the couch with Bridgette.
“Killers.”
“With Ashton Kutcher? Damn if I were to turn gay for anyone, It'd be him. He is a good-looking guy.”
“I would probably leave you for him,” Bridgette says.
I look away from Jace and Bridgette and look at the screen. I try not to pay attention to how hot I feel from Ash just being a few inches away from me.
Thankfully my dad left. He said he has business to do back in New York so he couldn't stay any longer. He was going to leave at the end of the week but something with his client came up. We haven't talked that much since I got into an argument with him about Ash.
I don't get why he has such a huge problem with Ash and why he had to ruin everything.
But at the same time, Ash also ruined things as well.
“What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?” I feel Ash whisper against my ear, sending shivers down my spine.
How does he have the ability to make me feel so weak around him? I swear he is the only one.
“Leave me alone and watch the movie,” I whisper before looking at Bridgette and Jace who are cuddled against each other, watching the movie.
I feel Ash's warm hand lay on my upper thigh. As I feel him stroke my inner thigh with his thumb.
“You feel warm down there. Are you wet Ariella?” Ash whispers. I try to press my thighs together to not let him get any closer but he doesn't let up. Instead he keeps his hand in between my thighs and spreads my legs. Thank God for the blanket. “Even though I humiliated you, you still manage to spread your legs for me.”
God, I want to punch him in the face. “Why do you always manage to ruin everything?” I scoot away from him but his hand lingers.
Ash smirks and he doesn’t move his hand from the inside of my thigh as he says, “Because ruining you is my favorite thing to do.”
Forty-Seven
Ash
Present
Some Weekend song is blasting through the speakers. Everyone is either dancing, drinking, or stuffing some kind of drug up their nose.
Jace dragged me here because he thought I needed a night out. He thinks I am pissed off and sexually frustrated.
He doesn't know that I am just aching to punch some glass.
My mind is going in circles and I can't stop thinking about Ariella.
Seeing her the other day, looking so beautifully broken and sad because of me, made my heart ache.
I feel like shit but I have to do this.
It's for Ariella and her future. Her father is a menace who doesn't care about anyone other than himself.
He reminds me a lot of my father which is ironic because they hate one another for reasons I still don't know about.
“Can you wipe that sour puss look off your face?” Nash says, putting his hand on my shoulder. “You look like you want to punch every motherfucker's face.”
Because I do.
Nash is someone from one of my classes and I met him on one of the first days of school. I don't really talk to him that much. I’m nice to him when I do see him and I make conversation but that's it. We never hangout.
