Page 24 of Broken Beauty
Jace drives out of the parking lot with Bridgette in the back and me in the passenger seat, clenching and unclenching my fists.
I can't stop visualizing that word over and over in my head while his grunts and dirty words mixed with my moans play in the background.
It's taunting me and I almost feel guilty for giving myself to him so willingly again. I will never learn when it comes to him.
Bridgette is asking what’s going on as Jace drives to where Ash is. I know she wants to know more; she has been wanting to know since Ash started hanging out with Jace a lot. She notices the small looks he gives me, but I keep brushing it off just because I don’t want to talk about it.
I’ll tell her eventually, just not yet.
When Jace parks the car I don't hesitate to get out. I hear Bridgette and Jace following behind me slowly. My heart can't stop racing as I rush inside the diner. I still can't process what just happened and if it was all a dream or not but I know that this is one of Ash's sick games that he likes to play with me.
My eyes roam around the diner when I push open the door and finally my eyes land on him, sitting at the very end of the bar with a blonde sitting next to him.
I am fuming and my head is in scribbles as I look over and see him laughing at something she is saying.
The fucking nerve he has!
I just can't believe him.
Who does he think he is? To embarrass me like that in front of everyone and now hangout with a girl knowing I would come and find him.
Ash has never been the type to push my buttons with other girls. Not until right in this moment, he has never touched or been around another girl when I was involved with him, or at least that's what I assume.
We aren't involved with one another but it hurts to see him with someone who isn't me.
Ash's eyes catch mine and he fucking winks like the douche he is.
I walk up to him and face the girl he is talking to.
She is pretty, but the poor girl doesn't know the kind of taste that Ash has.
“Hi, you were probably planning to eventually have sex with him right? Assuming that you didn't already?”
The girl blushes and I almost feel sorry for being so nasty but the way Ash makes me feel is crazy. I feel like a crazy ex-girlfriend even though we were never and never will be that.
I don't mean anything to Ash and this proves it. I am just a plaything to him.
“Um-“
“Let me save you the trouble darling. Ash, he has very aggressive tastes. He likes slapping, choking, degrading, all of that. You seem like such a nice girl and why would you want to be with a guy like that?” I say before I hear Ash snicker making me thrust my elbow into his stomach. “He also has chlamydia. Super serious case too. One of my friends caught it from him. Poor girl.” The girl's jaw drops and she looks at Ash before looking back at me. “I'm so sorry. I'll make sure he is never around you or anyone else again. I'll get him the help he needs.” I put a reassuring hand on her shoulder and she gives me a forced smile before getting her things and leaving.
I feel Ash's hand on my waist but I turn around and slap him across the face. “How dare you?” I yell and push his hand off of me. “You really have the fucking nerve to spray paint that on my car?”
“Oh come on, Madden, I know you like playing these kinds of chase and catch games.” He smiles, despite the red hand mark appearing on his face from the slap. “You like my attention, any kind of attention I give you, you fucking crave it baby.”
My body is shaking and I want to slap him again and scream at him, but he made me speechless. How does he always know how to make me feel so weak and below him?
Of course he admits he did it.
The fucking psycho admits it and is proud.
“You are sick! You are fucking horrible!” I push his chest and walk away from him. “I'll fucking ruin you, Ash!”
