Page 118 of Broken Beauty
I know that ever since I saw her at the bookstore I needed to have her in my life but now, after everything I told her about me, my mom, what I have done, my past, everything, I just know she is it for me.
There is no one else like her.
“I remember,” I say before closing my eyes and resting my head against the blanket. “I'm moving to New York.”
I feel weight lift off my chest making me open my eyes and I see Ariella staring at me with furrowed eyebrows.
She's wide awake now.
“What?”
“I'm moving to New York. I'm getting my own apartment but just know that I will be coming over every single day.”
Ariella's lips lift in a smile and it makes my heart fucking pound against my chest to the point I am worried she might feel it.
“Why?”
I shrug my shoulders. I can't believe she is really going to make me say this shit. “Because I love you and I want to be wherever you are.”
“What are you even going to do there? Are you going back to school with me?”
“No, but I am for now just going to take a break from everything and find a passion.”
Ariella doesn't know this, but that journal I have been writing in since meeting my therapist, I have been writing short stories in and I like them a lot.
I might publish them one day, we'll see.
She tilts her head to the side a little, looking confused. “You'll be okay without a job?”
“I have my mom’s money she made from this website and then my dad's savings for me. I'll be okay,” I promise her and kiss the top of her head. “What is the internship you have?”
“It's at a publishing house. I think I’ll finish my psychology degree and see where the internship takes me.” She shrugs.
I can't help but smile at her and lean down to capture her lips in mine. Her nails stroke up and down my arm sending chills down my spine.
This past month has been amazing with her. Things have been going well and things with my therapist have been okay.
I decided I'm going to keep him.
He's okay, I guess.
I take my lips off hers, need to keep my balls intact. “So, me and you in New York? What do you say?”
Ariella nods her head. “I say we're going to have some fun.”
I capture her lips with mine and immediately thrust my tongue in between her lips.
Fifty-Eight

Summer
The book is fucking stupid. I don't know why I am buying the second one.
The point that the author makes doesn't make any sense. I mean, it really just ends like that, on a cliffhanger?
What kind of mind fuck did the author want people to have?
