Bridgette wants to go to a party.
Usually I wouldn't be the type to go out and party but I feel like I need a night out to just forget about everything.
School is becoming stressful and I feel like all of the walls around me are closing in. That's the thing about anxiety, you can't stop it, with no amount of medication or other forms of therapy, my brain can't stop.
Bridgette said that we need to go out more since she hasn't gone out with me in a long time and I feel bad because I don't want to make it seem to Bridgette that I don't like hanging out with her, because I do.
I just need some time to myself to get my head straight.
“You are going to look amazing, Ariella. This dress looks better on you than it does on me,” Bridgette says while admiring her red dress on me.
She also ended up straightening my hair and did my makeup. I told her I could have done it so that she could get ready but Bridgette loves cosmetology.
Bridgette is wearing a purple skirt with a black tank top. Her curly brown hair is slicked in a low bun.
She is gorgeous and I admire her confidence and how she carries herself. “You should have left your hair down,” I tell her and Bridgette blushes and turns away.
She hates her curly hair and I don't know why. I love her hair. I wish I could have amazing hair like that.
“We have to hurry because Jace will be here soon.” Bridgette puts on her shoes and grabs her bag while I check my phone.
It's 11:00 pm right now and the party started an hour ago.
This party we are going to is being hosted by one of the guys that Bridgette hooked up with last year. He is super cool but kind of a dick. I got mad at Bridgette when I found out she was talking to him again even though she said she was only talking to him so that she could get invited to one of his parties because they are the best as many people say.
I don't see what the big deal is about his parties. The only thing his parties have that others don't is a shit ton of drugs and a three-story house with a pool overlooking half the city.
This guy is super rich so I see how people would want to go to his parties.
Bridgette told me that he is a business major, and his father runs some billion-dollar company.
“They're here!” Bridgette yells before running out of my room and downstairs.
They?
I grab my bag and leave the room, following Bridgette downstairs. When I walk outside I see Jace's white Range Rover.
Bridgette sits in the front and through the window I can see a bunch of other people in his car.
I walk to Jace's side of the car and I look in the back and see Ash with two other people in the back with him.
Ash's eyes burn into my chest and then my mind goes back to a few nights ago when he was in my room edging me.
And then my mind goes to the other day when he spray paintssmackon my car.
But a few days after that, when I woke up and looked outside, my car didn’t have that word on there anymore. My car looked brand new. It was clean on the inside and washed.
Ash has been throwing me dirty looks and then embarrassing me in class whenever he gets the chance by doing some stupid pranks.
When I opened my gym locker it was filled with a shit ton of condoms and all of the girls around me laughed and gave me dirty looks. He has also repeatedly made me fall on my ass whenever he bumps into me in the hallway. The jackass never stops and I don't think he ever will.
And my heart can't help but want to break whenever I see him with a girl around school or at the diner.
At our fucking diner.
He brings some dumb bimbo who looks like one of those moms in Calabasas that overdo their plastic surgery and end up looking like a damn frog.
I feel bad for talking bad about those girls because girls support girls but when it comes to Ash, I feel nasty and can't help but feel jealous. That doesn't mean I will show it though.
