“You can and you will.” I say, pressing her hand back to the mattress to muffle her screams.
I wrap an arm around her hips, my hand finding her pussy. I rub fast and hard on her clit making her try to move away from me but I keep a hold on her, not letting her go.
She comes again with a scream.
Soon I follow after her, biting her shoulder, leaving my mark as I come with a grunt.
Thirty-One
Ariella
Summer
It has been a few days since Ash last came over. He took me to the bookstore and bought me every book I touched, even if I didn't think I would like it, he still bought it for me and said that if I don't like it, I can return it or donate it.
I scolded him and told him he didn't have to do that before he pushed me against the bookshelf and started kissing me. Lo caught us kissing and then told us to stop and go do that outside. Ash laughed and he kissed me one last time before letting me go and walking away, leaving me breathing heavily.
After the bookstore, we went to the beach to hang out. We laid on the sand and I read one of the books he got me while he listened to me read out loud. When the sun started to go down that's when we left and Ash just dropped me off home. He told me he would come back later because he had to meet his dad which I was fine with.
I didn't know that he was going to not text me or call me to tell me he wasn't coming.
I didn't smell his scent on my pillows or see the outline of his body on the side of my bed.
Since that day I haven't gotten a call or text from him. I haven't texted him either because I'm too scared. I never like making the first move but I'm so tempted to.
Is he okay? Is he ghosting me? Is he not interested? Does he not like me anymore? Was he just using me?
So many questions and so few answers.
My father flew here from Paris the other day and he visited me right after Ash dropped me off that night. We had dinner and dad told me about how things are going for him. He asked me about college and how I am doing in all of my classes. He told me that Bridgette is having a lot of fun in England. He knows Bridgette's dad and they talk a little bit. I asked him about the girl he is seeing and he just said things are good and that's it.
I close my book and toss it on the floor.
I can't concentrate.
All of a sudden, I feel overwhelmed and my overthinking is getting the best of me.
I need to sleep and stop thinking about Ash.
I need to stop thinking about the word I want to say or admit. It's a scary thing.
Love.
It's terrifying and the way it makes people do crazy things makes me scared of what I might do for Ash. This whole summer was supposed to be a temporary thing.
What happened?
He is consuming my thoughts and it's not healthy at all.
I was about to turn off my lamp but then my door opens. I am ready to scream but then I see Ash leaning against the door frame. He looks like he has been there for a while but is now just showing himself.
“You scared me,” I say and then get off the bed to walk towards him. I manage to look down at his hands and see they are scarred again and have bruises on the knuckles. “Why do you keep doing this? What do you do to yourself?” I ask as I reach for his hand to inspect the cuts. He lets me, he always does when I notice his hands are like that. What does he do to his hands to make them look like this? I look away from his hands and meet his eyes. They look empty and deranged. He looks like he wants to smash every piece of furniture in my room. I put my hand on his jaw and furrow my eyebrows as I look at him. “What happened? Talk to me.” Ash takes my hands off his face and he looks down at my hand. “What's wrong?”
Ash looks up to meet my eyes. “Ariella fucking Madden.”
My brain is filled with questions.
How does he know my last name? I never told him.
