“Your face,” Bridgette says, then starts to gulp down her drink.
I take one sip of mine while looking around the house and my eyes catch familiar dark ones.
Of course, my eyes had to find his. He and I always seem to know when the other is in the room.
It's been a few days since he made me come all over his hand and then left me.
For the past few days, he has not acknowledged me once and I am starting to get pissed off. He looks at me and then glares before turning his head.
I thought things between us were going to be normal after the night we spent together. Ash spent the night, or at least I think he did because when I woke up he wasn't there. His lingering scent was there on my pillows and I stayed in bed that morning for an extra ten minutes closing my eyes and smelling my pillows.
I can't get enough of him and it's an issue.
When we are at school, he looks at me and glares before not looking at me for the rest of the class.
He is getting on my nerves by going back and forth.
That night it felt like old times, him holding me while I fell asleep, and then when he kissed me it felt like I was flying and that everything seemed right.
It felt like summer all over again.
But of course, Ash being Ash, he has to go in and ruin it by being a major dick and ignoring me.
If he wants to play that game then fine by me.
My eyes leave him and they go to the dance floor where I see a guy who is wearing a white shirt and just a regular pair of jeans, looking at me.
He is fairly attractive.
He looks like he is around maybe 6 feet which is good just in case he has to go up against Ash.
I bring the cup back up to my mouth and take a few sips. “I'm going to go dance,” I tell Bridgette after finishing my drink and then walking towards the living room.
I walk past the guy with the white shirt and smile at him.
I dance my way to the middle of the crowd. The song playing is “Woo” by Rihanna. I sway my hips from side to side, matching the rhythm of the song. My hands are roaming down my body at the same time I feel a pair of hands come around my waist. I turn my head and see the white-shirt guy.
Finally.
I close my eyes and rest my head on his shoulder. “I knew you wanted me,” he whispers in my ear but I don't pay attention to him.
I couldn't give two fucks about him.
The guy's hands touch my stomach and my hips, not going any lower, thank God.
My eyes open and I look straight ahead and see him.
Ash is sitting on the couch with Jace next to him. Two girls are sitting with him. One near Jace and another sitting next to Ash.
Ash's jaw is clenched and I look at his fists and try to ignore the way my heart beats when I see scratches and bruises on his knuckles.
Don't feel sorry for that bastard, he is with another girl and left you.
I slide my hand down to hold the guy's hand. I trail his hand down my thigh to place it there and then wrap my other hand around his neck.
“Tell me 'bout your picture-perfect love, tell me how you think without the drugs, maybe you just need to send for me…”
“Put your lips on me,” I say to the guy while keeping my eyes closed, blocking out the outside world.
