“Jace, let her have her fun. She will be fine,” I assure Jace.
“And what about you, Madden? Gonna need someone to clean up your mess again?” Ash says, which makes me look at him.
My eyes turn into slits as I glare at him. “If you're going to be a fun killer then you might as well leave. No one wants to hang out with a bore.”
Ash laughs and shakes his head lightly. Seeing him do that puts butterflies in my stomach.
“Careful, Madden.”
The server comes back with the drinks before I can say anything back to Ash.
Bridgette and I take the shots together while the boys just watch us while sipping on the drinks they got.
Jace got some kind of mule and Ash got straight whiskey.
Bridgette and I talk while sipping on the drinks we got for ourselves.
I downed the first Manhattan and when I looked at Ash I saw him giving me a warning glare, which I ignored.
If he doesn't want to have fun, fine by me, but he will not ruin my night.
“Let's go dance now.”
I pull Bridgette to stand up and she cheers before downing the rest of her drink.
“Don't embarrass yourselves!” Jace yells while Bridgette and I walk towards the dance floor where people are dancing against one another.
The song “I Feel It Coming” by The Weeknd is playing and everyone is dancing and swaying their hips to the music.
I wrap my arms around Bridgette and close my eyes while dancing with her. She is yelling out the lyrics to the song like a crazy person and wanting to jump up and down.
Bridgette and I dance very differently. She is a crazy, fun dancer while I like to dance slowly until I feel the music burn into my bones.
I love how we are so different yet so alike.
“God I hate it when you dance slow Ariella! Dance faster!” Bridgette yells.
“Just slow down and feel the music, Bridge. The club or song aren't going anywhere.”
“You're no fun.” She pouts and I laugh at her and remove my arms from her.
“Dance by yourself then. I'll have fun dancing by myself.”
“I love you! Don't forget that!” she says before dancing up and down to the music.
While dancing I close my eyes again and softly hum to the beat of the song.
My hips sway side to side while I slide my hands down my body slowly.
Every song by The Weeknd always gets me in the mood. It's definitely not the right time for that.
Especially when he is here.
“Thinking about me, Madden?” I feel strong arms wrap around my waist and I lean my head back against Ash's shoulder. “Why are you always a temptation?”
I smile. “Because it's fun.”
“You know what this reminds me of?” Ash asks while his hands lower to my hips, one of his hands grazing the skin below my dress. I feel chills run down my back and goosebumps explode on my skin. “That night in New York,” Ash whispers in my ear. “My hands on you, feeling your soft skin while kissing your neck, Ariella.” Ash places his lips on my neck and I feel sparks explode all over my body.
