He looks like he is a good guy. The type of guy you would have drinks with and talk shit to when you are just having that kind of day.
“My girlfriend wanted me to come to therapy.”
After I told Ariella about everything that happened with my mother, she told me that she wanted me to go to therapy and talk to someone about everything that happened and what I am feeling. We argued a little bit and then we ended up having sex where we were just cursing each other out. In the end she told me to stop acting like a child and just go to therapy.
We both agreed that I would try therapy out for a month and see how it goes and then Ariella said that she would let me try anal with her.
It took a few 'pleases' from her but I said yes. I have never tried anal and with her I want to try everything. I laughed when she said that because, out of all the things I thought she would promise me, it definitely wasn't anal that I thought of.
But her other condition was to take me to therapy and then pick me up. She also thought I should tell my dad but I told her I wasn't going to tell him until I am dedicated.
She also met with my therapist to make sure he is the right fit for me so I am going to try because I don't want to waste Ariella's time.
“How long have you and your girlfriend been dating for?”
“Since the summer.”
It's kind of a lie but he doesn't know that.
He and I have a long way to go with this whole fucking life story of mine.
“You love her?”
“Of course. I would do anything for her.”
Jameson nods his head. “How did you guys meet?”
“Sorry to go off topic but why are we talking about my relationship with my girlfriend when we probably should be talking about my problems?”
“I like to ease my clients into our sessions. I've met your girlfriend and she seems like a very kind and caring person. She cares a lot about you and I can tell she wants you to get better.”
“Did she tell you anything?”
Jameson leans back in his chair. “No, she didn't tell me anything about you other than necessary information. Like if you have a problem with drugs, alcohol, what triggers you, anything I should know before we move forward with our sessions. She answered all the questions and she told me that you are a very hard person to crack and from just talking to you for a few minutes I can tell you are. You are also the type of person to not trust easily.”
“Yea, that's my girlfriend for you.”
Jameson chuckles. “Back to my original question. How did you and your girlfriend meet?”
“At a bookstore. She asked me out on a date and we kind of just went from there.”
“I think there is more to the story there but we'll save that for another time.” He writes something in his notebook and I would do anything to read what he is writing. “How is your relationship with your parents?”
I tense up. “My dad is there and we talk sometimes.”
“Your mom?”
“Dead,” I state, bluntly, trying to show my best that she doesn't mean a fucking thing to me.
“I see. How did she die?” he asks and to that I don't reply. We aren't close enough for me to tell him my fucking deepest and darkest secret. “Back to Ariella. I think we'll be talking about her a lot before we start growing closer.”
“What makes you think we are going to grow closer?” I raise an eyebrow at him.
“Because Ash, you remind me a lot of myself. I know we will be getting along just fine as time goes.”

When I get inside Ariella's car, she has that beautiful bright smile on her face that tells me she is proud.
