Story: Merciless Intents
Ouch.
Something must have shown on my face because her expression changed from annoyance to curiosity as she stared into my eyes. I quickly schooled my features and smiled.
“Well, you make itwaytoo fun to piss you off. Besides, admit it. You missed my hands on your body.”
She rolled her eyes so hard I wondered if she’d have a headache after. “You are so fucking full of yourself. If you wereanyoneelse, Imightthink you missed me. Especially being here—in this bathroom—on the opposite side of the school from where you need to be. But, like I said, you’re you, so that’s not possible.”
For some reason, that enraged me. Ididmiss my hands on her body. Ididmiss touching her and making her want me, even though her mind screamed for her not to.
Without warning, I reached out and grabbed her, picked her up, and led her into one of the stalls.
“Damian Wolfe! Put me down right now!” she yelled at me, but I ignored her protests.
I dropped the lid on the toilet and sat, forcing her to straddle me in the process.
“What the hell are you doing?” she asked, her hands on my chest, pushing against me with little effort.
“Tell me you don’t want this.”
I gripped her hips and ground her against me. Her eyes closed, and she hissed through her teeth before coming back around. She slapped me across the face, the sting burning my skin.
“You are an animal—and not the good kind. I hate what you do to me.”
I smirked. “But you love it, too.”
Her eyes narrowed as she stared into mine. I watched darkness fill her expression as she leaned forward, pressing her breasts against my chest. The tip of her tongue gently slid across my lower lip, and I stilled. Somehow, I was at her mercy, and I didn’t even care. I wanted to know what she’d do next.
She leaned forward even more, placing her lips next to my ear. “You’re right. I do. Icraveit. There is something inside of me that wants you.Needsyou. I fucking hate everything about you, but deep down, I can’t wait to feel your hands on my body. I can’t wait to see how you’ll torture me next. How you’ll use this new side of me against me.”
“Fuck, Temperance,” I breathed. This wasnotwhat I expected. How thehelldid she get me to just roll over and show my belly like this?
“I can’t pretend to understand what’s going on in my head, why I want you so badly even when I hate you in equal measure, but I do. And I can’t deny it.” She pulled back and placed a simple kiss on my lips. “But if I ever see you with your dick in someone else again, I’ll cut your balls off. If you can claim me—I can do the same to you. I’mno one’sbitch.”
She stood, and I could only stare at her as she turned and exited the stall. As I listened to her footsteps walk away, I came to and jumped up. I ran out of the stall and stopped in the middle of the bathroom.
“Yeah? And what about Asher and Justin?”
“What about them?” she asked.
I huffed. “You want them, too.”
She nodded. “Yep. You can thank yourself for that. I’ve always been the monogamous type. I’ve never had eyes for more than one guy. But that first day, when you had me pinned in the bathroom stall, you awakened something I didn’t even know existed. Now that I do, I rather like it. You can take it or leave it, Damian, but I’ll bedamnedif I’m going to change myself to fityourneeds.”
With that, she turned around and walked off, leaving me turned on, confused, and oddly shocked.
Who the fuck is this girl?
CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE
TEMPERANCE
The weekend I’d dreaded since the moment I’d heard about it had finally arrived.
Parents’ Weekend.
For someone who didn’t have parents or had parents who were assholes and just didn’t care enough to show up, that kind of thing would blow.
Luckily for me, I’d planned ahead. I’d called the cafeteria and spoke to Harriet, one of the chefs—yes, a literal chef—who worked in there. I’d always made a point to say hi and talk to her when I came through the line, so she liked me a lot. Most of the assholes at Crestview didn’t even spare her a glance and treated her like a common cook. Or they ordered from their tables with the expensive ass cardstock menus like a bunch of assholes because they were too lazy and entitled to stand in a line and get it themselves.
Something must have shown on my face because her expression changed from annoyance to curiosity as she stared into my eyes. I quickly schooled my features and smiled.
