CHAPTER ELEVEN

OLIVIA

W aking up the next morning, Olivia took a few minutes to process everything from last night. She meant what she said about not being one who normally pushes boundaries.

It felt good though and she couldn’t lie about that. Miles was different from David and last night proved it. Not that she really questioned it before.

He was right as well, she did want to see what he would do about her blatantly disregarding what he had told her to do.

Better to see his true reaction to disobedience now rather than later when her heart was more involved.

Did she enjoy the punishment last night? No she didn’t, but not once did she feel unsafe. Never once did she feel any sense of fear about what was going to happen.

That was a strange feeling and one she hadn’t felt in a long time.

She liked it though, which was scary. Today was a new day and Olivia was interested in seeing if he would bring up her breaking the rule again .

In the books she read, the Daddy would always tell the Little that the slate was wiped clean, but that was the perfect romance world. She definitely didn’t live in a perfect romance world.

Excited to see what Miles had planned for today, Olivia got out of bed before heading into the adjoining suite to potty, brush her teeth, and attempt to tame the rats nest that was her hair.

Finally feeling presentable enough, she headed out to find Daddy. Nope, she couldn’t call him that. He was Miles not Daddy.

Following the smell of bacon and eggs, Olivia made her way into the gorgeous kitchen and found Miles looking delicious. Deciding to admire the view in front of her, she leaned against the frame waiting to make her presence known.

Miles stood at the stove in grey sweatpants and nothing else. She held back the giggle that was trying to escape at the image he made dancing and singing to the music playing through the speakers hidden somewhere in the house.

She must not have done so well with it, since she watched him turn around and start serenading her. Giggling, she decided to join Miles in the antics.

Grabbing the hand that Miles held out to her, the world spun as he twirled her around and dipped her back. Coming back up she felt Miles press a kiss against her lips before twirling her around again.

Olivia couldn’t remember the last time that she danced freely in the kitchen. No doubt that it was before David came into the picture. It had been forever since she felt carefree and at peace.

Sliding on to the barstool, she continued to watch Miles at work in the kitchen. He seemed to know his way around and was right at home preparing the meal.

The music faded as a plate slipped in front of her. She smiled at the bunny shaped plate filled with pancakes, bacon, and eggs.

Olivia felt a kiss pressed on the top of her head before Miles settled in beside her with his own plate piled high.

Once again sitting in comfortable silence, that she didn’t feel the need to fill, Olivia filled her belly with the fantastic breakfast he’d made for her.

Clearing her plate, she sat back and sipped on the orange juice that was in front of her before finally deciding to ask what the plan was for the day.

“So what exactly are we supposed to do for the day?”

“Well, I figured since I told you that I would fix your car problem, I thought that we could go look at some cars today.”

Olivia has no clue how she was going to be able to purchase a car. She had the money from her last one being scrapped and she was sure that there were some used car lots somewhere around here that they could go hit up.

“Okay, that’s fine. I don’t know where there are any used lots, but we can do that no problem.”

“Don’t worry about that part, Little Bunny. I’ve got it handled.”

Olivia trusted Miles, as crazy as it made her feel. She barely knows the guy, but here she was staying in his house and allowing him to take her car shopping. It felt like a fever dream, one she never wanted to wake up from.

“I’ll clean up the kitchen while you go get dressed and we can leave out of here in about forty-five minutes.” Miles said sliding from the barstool he was occupying.

“Oh, I can handle it. You cooked, afterall.”

“Daddy’s got it, babygirl. You just go get ready.”

Smiling at the name he called himself, Olivia went to do as she was told.

Forty-five minutes later, Olivia found herself sitting shotgun while Miles drove them to the car lot that she hoped would have a new to her vehicle that would suit her needs.

She was trying to have a positive attitude about this since he was trying to fix the wrong he had done. Olivia was not a fan of shopping, though. Especially for something that was going to cost her a bunch of money.

Playing on her phone and singing to the radio, Olivia didn’t notice where Miles had driven them until it was too late.

“Uh, what are we doing here?”

“Looking at cars, silly. What else would we be doing here?”

“No, here as in this dealership. I can’t afford any of the cars here. We will need to go somewhere else.”

Miles ignored her comment and she watched him get out of the truck and make his way around. She wasn’t getting out of this truck.

“Come on, Little one. Let's go find you a new car.”

“Miles, I already told you I can’t afford anything here. Let’s just go.”

“You might not be able to afford it, but I can, Little Bunny. I made this mess, so I’ll fix it. Plus, I would feel much more comfortable knowing that you are in a car that is safe.”

“You can’t buy me a car. You barely know me.”

“I can and I will. You’re mine, Olivia, and I take care of what is mine.”

“I’m not someone's property. You don’t own me.”

“You’re right, you’re not someone’s property. I don’t own you, but you’re my Little girl and I think you know that, as well.”

“Whatever. It’s your money. But! You are going to let me help some. I have the money from my last car. I can help.”

“Okay, Little one. I’ll let you put some towards the car if that’s what it will take to get you out of the truck.”

Olivia sighed and let him unbuckle her. He didn’t move when she slid out of the truck and she couldn’t help that her body reacted to his.

Holding back the moan that wanted to escape, she smiled up at him. Feeling brave again, she quickly stepped on her tippy toes and pressed what should have been a quick kiss against his lips.

She should have known better than to think that it was going to be quick. This time, Olivia couldn’t stop the moan that escaped as he slid his hands into her hair, angling her face and deepening the kiss.

Pulling away breathless she rested her head against his chest.

“Wow!”

“Wow is right, babygirl. What I wouldn’t do to be alone with you at home right now instead of buying a car.”

“Well, nothing says that we can’t go back home.”

“As much as I love the sound of you calling my house home, not going to happen, Little minx. Let’s go before you can distract Daddy some more.”

Giggling at his words and choosing to ignore him calling himself Daddy again, Olivia slid her hand into the crook of his arm and they headed towards the shop where they were greeted by a salesman.

They chatted for a bit before heading out to look at some of the cars they had to offer. Miles wasn’t kidding when he said that he wanted the safest car for her.

The poor salesman didn’t know what to do with the horde of questions that Miles was throwing at him, but eventually they settled on the perfect car for her.

She was now the proud owner of a brand new 2024 Toyota Camry. The shiny icy blue exterior, buttery soft grey leather seats that heated in seconds, down to the amazing radio and speaker system, Olivia didn’t know what to think.

She had never owned a car this nice and she would forever cherish it. Bouncing on her toes, Olivia watched as they filled out the paperwork and the keys were dropped into her hand.

Squealing, she let go of Miles' hand and dashed over to the car and slid inside. The clearing of a throat behind her stopped the slamming of the door.

“Uh, Little girl. We need to have a chat before you leave this parking lot.”

Sighing, she turned towards Miles and looked up at him.

“Yes, Sir. What could we possibly need to talk about?”

“Watch the tone and sass there, Little one. Daddy just has a few rules he wants to tell you.”

“Okay, okay. What’s the rules?”

“One - No speeding. Two - Always wear your seatbelt. Three - No texting and driving. Four - Tell me when you leave and arrive at places. Five - Give me a kiss.”

She giggled “That’s not a rule Mr.”

“No, but it should be,” he said, grinning at her.

Olivia slid out of the car and pressed a quick kiss on his cheek.

“Really, thank you for this. You don’t know how much it means to me.”

“Anything for you, Olivia. Daddy will always do anything to make you happy. Now let's go home. We can grab takeout on the way. There’s some important things we still need to discuss. ”

“Okay, sounds good. Can we have chinese?”

“Of course, babygirl. Here take this and put this code in your phone. You go ahead and go home and I’ll grab the chinese.”

“You can’t just give me a key and the code to your house, Miles.”

“I can and I did. Now drive safe, Little Bunny. Daddy will see you soon.”

She slid back into the car and made sure he saw her buckle her seatbelt. Cranking the car and slipping it into drive, Olivia pulled away and made her way towards home. Not that she should be calling Miles’ house home.

Settling in on the couch with her sesame chicken and noodles she looked over at Miles.

“So what is it that we need to have a conversation about?”

“I’ll start. You have heard me call myself Daddy several times now, but I wanted to explain a little bit more of that.”

She nodded her head indicating that he could continue.

“You know about Littles and Daddies from Rae and Emmett’s relationship, so it's safe to assume that you know a little bit about the dynamic.”

“Uh, yeah I know some.”

“So, I am a Daddy Dom just like Emmett is. That’s actually one of the things we bonded over when we were roommates in college.”

“Yeah, Raelyn has mentioned a time or two that you are. Plus it’s kinda hard to miss it when you are looking for the signs. You have BDE. ”

“BDE?”

“Big Daddy Energy!”

Olivia busted out laughing at the face that Miles made. It was priceless and she wishes she had her phone to capture it. Rae would have gotten a kick out of it all.

“Well, I would love to have that relationship with you. One similar to what Rae and Emmett have.”

“But I’m not that kind of Little.”

“Are you sure about that?”

“I mean I think so. Yeah, I’ve played with Rae while she was in Littlespace, but it’s not like I was there myself. I wouldn’t know the right way to be a Little.”

“Well first, there’s no right or wrong way to be a Little. However you decide you want to be will be the correct way for you.”

“Okay, but that still doesn’t change the fact that I don’t even know if I am the kind of Little you’re looking for. Just because I like to read those kinds of books and have playdates with Rae doesn’t mean anything.”

“I don’t have any doubts that you are, but if this is something that you would like to explore I would love to help you with that.”

“You would?”

“Yes, Little Bunny, I would. I would love nothing more than to be your Daddy and help you explore the Little I know is living inside of you.”

Olivia didn’t know how to respond. He was offering her everything that she had dreamed of having with David, but never had.

David never knew that she was interested in that kind of lifestyle.

She might have told him about her desires in the beginning of their marriage, but as time went on and he started showing his true colors, Olivia knew that if she did have a Little, it would never be safe around David.

“You don’t have to give an answer right now. You can take the night, think and sleep on it, and we can revisit this conversation in the morning.”

“Okay, I would like that.”

“Good, now finish eating your dinner, babygirl, and Daddy will put a movie on for us.”

“Oooo, can we watch Finding Nemo? It’s my favorite!”

“Anything you wish.”

Miles turned on Finding Nemo for them to watch as they finished their dinner.

When she had eaten all that she could, Olivia put her plate on the table before slowly sliding closer to him.

Her heart fluttered when he reached over and pulled her into his side.

Sighing, she settled in against his chest and everything felt like home.
