Story: Reluctantly Rogue
I’m definitely flustered now. And if I keep talking to her about this, she’s going to catch on that I’ve already had some of these thoughts about Jonah.Notin relation to “helping Torin out”, but that if Jonah has already made me a huge fan of kissing, he could probably be a fantastic tutor in…other things.
“I need to go and finish getting ready for my date. “
“Okay. That’s a good idea. If Jonah ends up being your sex tutor, it might be better if you marry James. Then you won’t accidentally end up pulling him into a linen closet in the palace?—”
“Goodbye,Astrid.”
“Goodbye. I love you! Havefun. And I mean that!”
I hang up on my sister and press my hands to my hot cheeks.
Oh, I know she means it.
The problem is…now I can’t stop thinking about the kind of fun she thinks I need to have.
And with whom.

Itold her to wear the green dress.
I was right.
And so very, very wrong.
She looks amazing. Too fucking amazing. James Hill doesn’t know what’s about to hit him.
She will have a date every night as long as we’re here and maybe a marriage proposal before we leave.
Fucking great.
I straighten from where I am storing the bottles of water I had delivered in the fridge.
“You look amazing,” I tell her sincerely.
She licks her lips. “Thank you.”
I tuck my hands in my pockets. “Your hair is up, though.” I specifically told her to wear it down.
She’s always a knockout, but her hair down is sexy as fuck.
She needs to walk in there tonight looking like this is a date, not a meeting. Hill has seen her hair up. He needs to know that she considers this asocialget-together.
She lifts her hand to finger the hair gathered at the back of her head. “I had it down. Then panicked.”
“There’s no need to panic. He’ll be excited to see you. You’ll take his breath away.”
She chews on her bottom lip. “I think I need to ease into this.”
“Is that why it’s drinks only tonight? And why you invited his assistant?”
Her eyes widen.
Before she can say anything like ‘how did you know that’, I remind her, “I know everything, Duchess. I needed the itinerary, so I knew what we were doing. I needed to get a table near yours at the restaurant.”
