“I seem to remember Cat and CeCe doing the sisters thing with Vi when she was getting her hair done,” Elena said. “If that’s what this is, you can relax.”

“Oh we can?” CeCe said. “Does that mean you’re not attracted to our little sister?”

Elena cleared her throat, trying to think of the best way to answer that question, especially since CeCe knew Elena was exploring her sexuality.

“Hey girls,” Christine said, walking up.

“Hi, Mom,” Cory said.

“What’s going on here? Are they grilling you, Elena?” Christine asked.

“No!” CeCe exclaimed.

“It kind of feels that way, Christine,” Elena said. Thank goodness Christine walked up when she did.

“I’ve told them to leave you and Cat alone, and that y’all are taking care of things,” Christine said

“We are,” Elena said.

“That’s what we’re trying to find out, Mom,” Cory said. “Just what things are they taking care of?”

“I’d say it’s none of your business,” Christine said. “Don’t you have a liquor store to be running? I came to pick up wine.”

“Yes ma’am,” Cory said.

Christine put her hand on CeCe’s shoulder. “Leave her alone.”

“Yes ma’am,” CeCe replied.

As Christine and Cory walked away, CeCe made eye contact with Elena in the mirror. She gave her a smile and said, “You know, you could be more than friends with Cat. I think she would be open to it.”

Elena stared at CeCe. If she only knew.

“That’s all I’ll say. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”

Elena raised her brows and chuckled. “Sure you didn’t.”

CeCe laughed and shrugged.

“Hi honey, I’m home,” Elena said, walking in the front door. “That’s kind of fun.”

She walked into the sapphic study and stopped. “Oh my God,” she whispered.

Cat was sitting in one of the chairs wearing an unbuttoned flannel shirt, revealing a black bra made of see-through lace and matching panties. A pair of black high heels completed her outfit. She had her legs crossed, gently moving her foot up and down.

“It’s my turn to bring the romance tonight,” Cat said with a sexy smile. She could see and feel Elena’s eyes as they roamed over her body. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so wanted.

“If you expect us to drink this wine before I touch you then you’re mistaken,” Elena said, setting the bottle of wine Cory had given her on the table.

“Slow down, baby,” Cat said from where she sat. “I have something for you.” She reached for a box that sat on the table next to her and held it out to Elena. Cat took a deep breath, wanting to settle her excitement so she could remember every moment.

“For me?”

Cat nodded.

Elena took the box and set it in the other chair. She held out her hands to Cat and smiled. Cat put her hands in Elena’s and stood.

“You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen,” Elena said, taking in Cat’s outfit from head to toe.
