I clear my throat. I don’t know how Ryder is going to take this. “Sawyer took her as his mark. She’s on a point system. If she gets enough points, we’ll let her go.”

Iwatch the men with rapt attention. Ryder doesn’t move after Miles’ statement. I wish he was facing me so I could see his expression. I watch Miles instead. Is he mad? What the hell does he think?
