Page 141 of Wanna Play A Game?
I leap over the couch and dart toward the front door before a huge form slides in front of me. I run right into a solid wall of muscle. I try to scramble back. It’s Ryder. He snaps a hand around my neck and under my chin, forcing my gaze up to his dark one.
“Did you just disobey one of my men?”
I glare at him, swinging a foot out to kick him in the nuts, but he just holds me out away from his body with his long arms. I hiss, “Fuck you! I fucking hate you!”
Ryder simply squeezes my neck harder. “Do you want so badly for this game to add another player? You think I won’t like breaking you until you forget who you are? Until you come crawling to me and begging for everything you need? You don’t get to disobey Sawyer.”
Ryder’s grip is making the world grow dim and my ears ring.
“Bring it on, motherfucker,” I slur. Let him fucking try. Let them all fucking try. I may be caught, but they will never break me.
There’s a sharp jab to my thigh, and I try to jerk away, but moving feels like I’m trying to swim through cotton.
Then, Ryder drops me, and the world comes roaring back. All three men stand over me, looking down at me with blank expressions. Sawyer is holding a needle. I cough and rub my thigh. I know that with whatever he just gave me, I’m fucked. I’m about to be at their complete mercy, and there’s nothing I can do about it.
I’m getting whiplash from how quickly they switch things up on me. I start laughing. They’re killers. I’m not sure what the fuck else I expected.
“What are you laughing at?”
I glance up at Sawyer. “Just a funny way to go, you know? You almost had me. You played your game well. Had me eating right from your palm. You deserve this kill – you played well.”
The room goes completely silent. Sawyer crouches down, grabbing my chin in his warm hand. “Oh, Cali. I’m not playing you. And we’re not going to kill you. Far from it. In fact, if you beg, I might even make it feel good.”
A wave of dizziness hits me, and I squeeze my eyes shut.
“Good girl. Just submit. It’ll be easier for you.” Someone picks me up, carrying me. The swinging in the air makes nausea boil in my stomach. They set me down on my back on the couch. I sit up as all three of them round the corner, blinking away the lightheadedness.
“Oh yes, please run again. How far do you think she’ll make it? My bet is the front yard.” Sawyer smirks at me.
Miles crosses his arms. “I won’t let her. She’ll fall and hurt herself.”
“You’re no fun. Ryder?”
The huge, silent man looks me in the eye and doesn't answer. I stare back, returning his look with a challenging one of myown. I refuse to break eye contact, even as another wave of lightheadedness swirls in the back of my head.
Finally, Ryder smirks. He looks like he’s thinking about slicing me up, and a wave of tingles runs over my skin. Despite all odds, my pussy also gets hot.
Sawyer approaches me and straddles my waist. “We’re going to teach you what could happen if you keep drowning yourself in alcohol.”
I look up at Sawyer, a tingle of numbness running through me. Sawyer grins down at me. “Get me off.”
“No,” I spit.
“Get me off ofyou.”
I struggle to pull away, but Sawyer is heavy as shit.
“C’mon, Cali. I’m not even doing anything to you,” Sawyer mocks. “Get me off.”
Anger fills me, and I snap my hand down to punch his nuts. His arm shoots down quickly as he backs up. He snatches up both my wrists and pins them to the back of the couch. I struggle, but I can’t break his iron grip.
“Cali, I’m not even trying.” Sawyer ducks his head down to look me in the eyes. “See how vulnerable you are?”
I bare my teeth at him and snap my head forward, knocking my forehead against the bridge of Sawyer’s nose.
He hisses, jerking back, but doesn’t let up on his grip. “Now you’ve just pissed me off. And you’re no closer to getting free.” In a violent move, Sawyer whips me down so I’m lying on the couch, and he’s straddling me. The movement makes the world spin again, and this time, it takes longer to stop. I feel hands tugging at my clothes.
When I open my eyes again, my breasts are exposed, and my pants are pulled down to my knees. Miles is holding my hands above my head, and Ryder sits on the coffee table next to us. Itry to struggle, but it feels like it takes forever for my limbs to respond.
