Page 128 of Wanna Play A Game?
The door opens, and Cali and Miles walk in. Ryder follows shortly behind.
“Ah, perfect. Now we can get started.”
“He’s not dead?” Cali gasps. She shrinks back into Miles for a second before she sees me watching her. Then she squares her little shoulders and gives me a defiant look.
A mix of emotions swirls in me, but anger is the biggest one. I’ll teach her just what she’s trying to protect. She can’t go back to him. She’s mine. Ours. And the sooner she learns this, the better off she’ll be.
I yank Ben’s clothes back until his shriveled dick and balls are exposed to the room. “Miss these, Cali?”
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” she growls.
“That wasn’t a no.” I place the cold steel against his balls. Ben starts screaming again behind his gag, and I glance at my men. They look interested and completely focused. This is what we do. This is what we thrive from.
“Ryder, you want to prep one more meal for me?” I lift an eyebrow, make eye contact with Cali, and cleanly slice through the skin, severing Ben’s balls from his body.
The scream that erupts from him rushes under my skin, chasing the bugs away and filling my body with electric heat.
Cali keeps her gaze on me the whole time. She glares, eyes full of swirling fire. And that pisses me off more. She’s mad at me for giving her abuser what he deserves.
I hold the bloody balls up in front of my face and ask in a mocking tone, "What was his favorite dressing, Cali?”
Her nostrils flare and she doesn’t answer.
“Answer me, or I’ll add his nipples to it.”
“Dressing?” she asks. She's trying not to look at the dripping balls in my hand while I play with them. They feel like squishy bouncy balls in loose sacks.
Cali glances between me, the balls, and the man on the table. A bunch of emotions run over her face, too fast for me to keep track of. She grits her teeth. “You’re fucked up.”
“So you keep saying. Answer,” I growl, my fists tightening.
Cali glares at me. “Maybe the nipples would make a good side dish.”
I pause completely, looking at her closely. There’s bravado on her face, and the pulse in her neck is racing. But there’s also anger when she looks at him. For a second, I question myself. Is she mad at me or at him?
Cali turns her snarl on me.
Okay, me then. “Fine. Ryder, do barbeque sauce.” I put Ben’s balls on his chest, carve both of his nipples off, and then hand them to Ryder. He gives a dark chuckle and grabs them from me.
Ben’s eyes roll back into his head, and he goes still. The fucker has passed out again.
I smack his face hard. “Wake up, coward. I’ve seen men handle ten times more pain better than you.” I move to grab more adrenaline.
Miles warns, “Too much and you can give him a heart attack.” I smack Ben’s face again. He doesn’t respond. I inject the adrenaline anyway.
Ben’s eyes open, his skin clammy. I lean over him, ripping the gag out of his mouth. “Now, for that shriveled thing you call a dick.”
Chapter 64
Cali
My heart is racing, and my palms are sweating. I’ve gone through every emotion while standing down here. I thought we were done with this. I feel sick watching the brutality inflicted on someone I know. But every time I see Ben’s face, I flash back to the times he would come home and scream hateful things at me. I see his hands reaching out to choke me.
But a part of me says he still doesn’t deserve all this pain. Maybe some of it was my fault. I’m not exactly an easy person to get along with.
Fuck. I don’t know what to think or how to feel. I need a drink.
Miles pulls me back into his body, grounding me. I lean into his warmth.
