Snorting a laugh, I shake my head and help her out. “You don’t think this is going to turn heads?” I ask.

“Why would someone bother paying attention to some random old lady?”

“True. But what if that random old lady is out with a six-foot-tall biker?” I look at her with a raised brow as I help her put her sneakers on.

“I’ll just tell everyone you're my grandson.” She pats my head.

“You are unbelievable,” I chuckle, standing and offering her my hand.

“Thanks.” She winks. “Now, let’s go feed me. I’m starving.”

Well, this is going to be a day to remember that’s for sure.

Turns out, not as many people have been staring at us as I thought there would be. At least, not while we were eating.

Ally chose to go to Clifton Hill, a little amusement place near the hotel we’re staying at.

It’s not that old people can’t ride rides. But Ally seems to forget that most sixty-plus people don’t run from one ride to the other. I feel like a father telling their little kid to slow down and stop running because it’s drawing attention.

But at the same time, it's nice to see Ally let loose and have fun.

So far, we’ve done the SkyWheel, a massive Ferris wheel that I never want to go on again. Turns out, I’m not a fan of heights. At least, not combined with tight spaces and no way to escape.

Then we went to the wax museum. After that, we played mini golf. It was hard not to burst into laughter at seeing an old woman scream with joy, throwing her hands in the air. She got so excited when she won the game that she started dancing. Them fake tits? Yeah, they were smacking her in the face.

I can’t remember the last time I had this much fun.

Not gonna lie, a part of me was worried about how this was going to work.

I’m the only one in the pack with one partner.

And I’m more than okay with that. Lulu is enough for me.

More than enough. That girl owns my heart and soul.

I love her with every fiber of my being.

And having her wear my mate mark fills me with pride every time I see it on her throat.

Lulu just got back the person she’s been in love with and missing for years, on top of finding her scent matched Alpha.

Brady found his scent matched Omega and Nate is involved with Ally and Liam.

I thought maybe I’d be the odd one out, pushed aside.

I know it’s stupid, and I was overthinking things, but it didn’t change the fact that’s how I felt.

But with each passing day, I’m starting to see that’s not how it’s going to be. Ally makes sure to involve me in pretty much everything. She takes time to sit down and talk to me, including me in conversations.

Lulu makes sure she takes the time to spend with me, too. We get our alone time and that’s the big thing that matters to me.

Sometimes I wondered if things would be better if Ally and I got involved, too. But the thing is, I just don't see her that way. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a good-looking woman with a great personality, but the sparks aren't there. And that's okay.

Still, I think the girls’ idea to get to know Nate and myself better was very sweet. And this is surely a day I don't think I'm ever going to forget.

“Where to next?” I ask, taking a big chunk off my cotton candy and shoving it into my mouth.

She looks at the map, humming as she chooses. “Oh!” she squeals excitedly. “Carnavel Chaos.”

“Sounds interesting."

We head over to the ride and get in line. Ally and I chat while we wait, and as we get closer to our turn, I notice people giving us funny looks. I raise a brow to the man openly staring at me. “You got a problem with a man spending time with his Nana?” I ask, my voice a little intimidating.

He looks away, shaking his head. Ally huffs a laugh. “Thanks, dearie. Nana enjoys spending time with you too.” She makes her voice sound crackily like an old lady, and we both grin at each other.

The ride was fun, and I screamed too much. Something I made Ally vow to never tell Lulu and Brady.

After that, we grab another snack before heading to the speedway.

“Ma’am,” the worker asks. “Are you sure you're okay to drive?”

“I’m fine,” she huffs, snatching the helmet from him. “Mind your business.”

“Yeah, man. Let the woman do what she wants.”

He shakes his head, handing me my own helmet. Like giddy kids, we head over to our carts.

“Be prepared to eat my dust!” she shouts.

“I drive bikes for a living, babe. I think I got this.”

She gives me a quick smile. “We’ll see about that.”

Yeah, turns out, I didn't have it. Bikes and go-karts are not the same.

“Victory is miiiiine!” she shouts when we get off.

“These things are stupid. My legs are too damn big for them,” I grumble, taking off my helmet.

“Yeah, yeah. Sore loser,” she snickers. “You just can’t handle being beaten by an old lady,” she teases, taking off her helmet.

Her wig goes with it and my eyes go wide.

“See,” she continues, handing the helmet back to the worker.

“This old lady did just fine. Kicked this one’s ass. ” She points to me.

The worker stares at her in shock.

“Nana,” I hiss. “Your wig”

Her eyes widen as she pats her head before looking at the helmet. “Oh shit,” she hisses, snatching the wig. “Gotta go!” she shouts before taking off.

I burst into laughter as she struggles to get the wig back on her head as she runs.

“God, that was too funny.” I’m in stitches by the time we stop, out of sight, so Ally can fix the wig.

“I think he was too shocked to notice,” Ally wheezes out, laughing too. “How does it look? All fixed?”

I adjust it for her and nod. “You’re good.”

Looping her arm through mine, she looks up at me. “I had fun with you today.”

“Me too.” I smile softly down at her.

“I’m glad you’re a part of this pack. Wouldn’t be the same without you.”

Swallowing hard, I thank her. “Thanks,” I grunt.

“Now, let’s go see the rest of our pack members. I want to see Niagara Falls at night.”

It’s dark by the time we get back to the pack. I have a million missed texts from Liam and Brady asking how Ally is doing. No matter how many times I tell them she’s fine, they don’t believe me.

You think they just let me take her out alone? Fuck no. Liam has men undercover all around the park. We were never alone. But hey, if it made them feel better, all the power to them. It didn’t bother our time together.

“There you are,” Lulu says, her smile when she sees me takes my breath away. She runs over to me, launching herself into my arms. “Missed you.” She kisses me, and I moan as her scent settles over me.

“Missed you too, Darlin’.”

Lulu looks down with a raised brow. “Ah, babe, who’s the old lady? Is she lost?”

I toss my head back, deep belly laughs shaking my body as I set Lulu down on her feet.

“What?” Lulu looks so confused. “What’s so funny?”

“Don’t fret,” Ally says in her old lady voice. “Let Nana make it all better.”

She steps forward and kisses Lulu.

Lulu’s eyes go wide in horror. “What the fuck!” she splutters and now it’s Ally’s turn to lose it.

“It’s me!” Ally gasps in between fits of laughter.

“Ally?” Lulu groans. “What the hell?!”

“Sorry,” she laughs. “Had to.”

“This is the disguise you chose?” Lulu questions, smiling wide now.

“Yup.” Ally wiggles her brows.

“Fucking hell!” Brady booms with laughter. “You’ve been out with her like this all day?”

“Yes,” I sigh heavily. “Nana and her grandson’s day out.”

“I fucking love it.” Lulu is laughing hard now, and I can’t even be mad at her. I love the sound.

“Hey, big guy,” Ally purrs, running her fingers down Brady’s chest. “You single? I’m looking for a hot young stud to dust off the cobwebs.”

Brady is grinning like an idiot, looking at Ally like she hung the moon. He’s so in love, and I love that for him.

“Sorry, Ma’am. I’m a taken man.”

“Shame,” she pouts. “How about you, big boy?” she asks Liam. “Any chance old ladies are your thing?”

“Not at all,” Liam chuckles.

“Nothing? Doesn’t do it for you at all?” she asks, lifting up her fake boobs. “How about now?”

“You, my dear, are crazy.” Liam shakes his head.

“But all the best people are.” Ally wraps her arms around Liam. “Now, kiss Nana hello.”

Every day with this pack is a new adventure, and I never know what the next day is going to bring. One thing I do know, there’s never going to be a dull moment. And I can’t imagine life being any other way.
