Brady
As soon as Nate closes the door, I spin around to face my brother. “I fucked up,” I groan, leaning over to put my hands on my knees, my dick still very much throbbing, but not with need. That girl knows how to hit hard.
“Yup,” Gavin confirms.
“Big time,” I sigh heavily as I straighten up.
“Yup.”
“I didn’t mean to be such a fucking dick.
” I run my hands through my hair, gripping the strands.
“And now I feel like a fucking jackass. Like it literally makes my skin crawl knowing I was mean to my scent match. And that's part of the reason why I was an asshole. Because fucking hell, the feelings rushing through me are overwhelming. I’ve been shot, I’ve been chased down by crazy men, I’ve had to survive in the woods with nothing but the clothes on my back and the knife in my pocket.
But this? Nothing in the world could prepare me for this. ”
“How are you doing?” he asks me, placing a hand on each of my shoulders.
“So damn confused and conflicted. I met my scent match for fuck’s sake, Gavin.” I blink at him in disbelief.
“You did.” A smile quirks up on the side of his lip.
“And she’s a fucking famous person.”
“She is.” He nods along.
“And the girl our girl has been obsessed over for years.”
“That indeed she is,” he agrees.
“Our girl is fucking scent matched to my scent match’s bodyguard!” I shout. “How the fuck are you not freaking out too?”
“Probably because I don’t have the hormones rushing through me like you do,” he chuckles.
“This isn’t funny,” I snarl.
“I mean, it is. Just a little bit.” He laughs. “Who would have thought this is how our lives would end up, huh?”
“What do we do?” I ask honestly, not sure what the next step in all of this should be.
“Ally and Lulu said we join our packs. Seems like a good idea to me.”
“We don’t even know them.” I narrow my eyes. “Have you forgotten where we come from? Dad would kill us for just blindly agreeing to something so big without thinking it over.”
“We might not have met these people in person before, but you know damn well we know every bit of information you could find on them. I saw the folders, Brady.” He raises a brow.
“Okay, fine,” I grumble. “Yeah, when Lulu told us about Ally, I made sure to find out everything I could about her and the people in her life.”
“So you know they’re not bad people,” Gavin says.
“Liam’s old pack is in jail because they kidnapped a fucking Omega,” I snarl.
He rolls his eyes. “His old pack. Not him.”
“Still. I don’t like this.” I shake my head, starting to pace the room.
“I like our quiet little life. I like waking up next to Lulu every morning, going into the shop, getting my fingers dirty while fixing cars, then coming home to the clubhouse to shoot the shit with my family. This–” I wave around the room. “Isn’t what I want for my life.”
“You know how this works, Brady. We don’t get to choose. The fact is that this is the life your Omega lives. She’s famous. You can’t be away from her, not unless you want to cause her pain.”
“Fuck no,” I snarl. “I might have said some mean things, but just the idea of her hurting makes me want to rip the world apart.”
Gavin grins. “And that’s the reason why we’re going to have to make this work. Not to mention, our Omega is scent matched to Liam. Who lives the same kind of life as Ally by default. So either way, we’re going to have to make this work. For both Omegas.”
“I don’t want to share Lulu,” I growl. The idea of another man’s hands on her that aren’t my brother’s makes me want to murder someone.
“Too bad, brother, because that Alpha is hers. Just like he’s Ally’s.”
“Fuck.” I spin around and punch the wall, rage filling me, and regret immediately follows. “Damn it!” I shake out my hand.
“You done throwing your little tantrum?” Nate asks as he comes back into the room.
“Probably not,” Gavin chuckles.
“I hate you,” I growl to Gavin.
“Love you too, brother.” He winks.
“Who are you and what do you have to do with Ally and Liam?” I demand. I know he’s their manager, but never has it been said anywhere that he was involved with either of them, yet it seems like he is, from how Ally was acting.
“I’m Nate Wilder. Ally and the band’s manager.” He shoves his hands in his pockets. “And you are?” he asks, raising a brow.
“I’m Gavin, and this is my brother, Brady. We’re Lulu’s Alphas,” my brother answers.
“That much I’ve assumed. And going off the cuts you're wearing, I’m gonna say you’re a part of an MC.”
“That gonna be an issue?” I growl low.
“Not exactly. But it does mean we’re going to have to work hard to keep that bit of information out of the media as long as we can.
Not sure that’s gonna work, seeing how there’s always eyes on Ally and you two are about to spend a lot of time with her.
But we’ll deal with that later. That's PR’s job.
Mine is to make sure Ally is taken care of. ”
“Thought that was Liam’s job?” I ask, narrowing my eyes.
“It is.” He grins. “We both work hard to make sure Ally is safe and taken care of.”
A jealous feeling rises in me. I want to be the one to make sure she’s taken care of. She’s my Omega.
“What’s your relationship with Ally?” I ask, crossing my arms. “Apart from being her manager.”
“That’s a little complicated,” he chuckles. “I’ve wanted that woman for a long time now. But with me working for her, and the cluster fuck between her and Liam, I’ve been trying to figure out when and where it would be the best time to finally have my girl.”
“And now is that time?” Gavin asks with an amused chuckle.
“I don’t see why not?” Nate shrugs. “The only reason Ally and Liam aren’t packed up is because of Liam’s past. That is no longer an issue, seeing how his Omega is someone Ally wants to be with, too. So, now Ally and Liam can be together. I’m with Liam; I want Ally. Now I can have them both.”
“You're not touching Lulu,” I snarl. “It’s bad enough I have to share her with that guy, I'm not sharing her with you, too.”
“You don’t have to worry about that, my guy. As pretty as Lulu is, my heart is equally split for only two people. Although I do like her personality. I think the two of us will be great friends.” He grins.
That's a bit of a relief. If Lulu did end up wanting to be with Nate, I wouldn't fight her on it, but there are already too many changes happening within the past half hour, and I don’t think I can handle anything else right now.
“What about you?” Nate asks Gavin. “You want Ally?”
“I hardly know the girl,” Gavin chuckles. “But damn, that spitfire personality is a turn on,” he comments longingly. “But as of right now, I think it’s safe to say I don’t have any romantic intentions with her. But that doesn’t mean I’d be against it.”
“Fair enough.” Nate nods. “Same goes for me. Although I don’t see that happening.”
“What’s wrong with Lulu?” I growl. “She not good enough for you?”
“You need to tone it back down, dude,” Nate warns. “Or Ally is going to eat you alive.”
“She really is a force to be reckoned with, isn’t she?” Gavin questions, a grin on his face.
“Oh yeah,” Nate answers. “She runs the show. So, might want to get used to it.”
“Have fun with that.” Gavin claps my back with a chuckle.
I shrug. “I love a good brat.” It’s a turn on when Lulu gets a little mouthy.
“Brat?” Nate raises a brow. “Nah, my man. She’s more like a feral raccoon. Especially when she has caffeine. Keep that away from her. With her meds, it causes her to get a little... lively.”
“So we’ve seen,” Gavin says with amusement.
“She was a little more theatrical than she normally is. But she always has this fun spirit about her. She has a past.” Nate narrows his eyes at me. “A dark one. Your Lulu isn’t the only one who has trauma. Be sure to remember that before you go blindly accusing Ally of shit you have no idea about.”
Guilt slams into me like a brick wall. “I shouldn’t have said what I said.” I don’t regret much in my life, but how I acted with Ally, yeah, that's at the top of that very short list. I’m going to have to make it up to her somehow.
“No. You really fucking shouldn’t have. Do you know who Julia Turner is?”
“Name sounds familiar."
“She’s Ally’s old manager, right?” Gavin asks.
“Wait? The Alpha who abused her Alpha bark on past clients?” I growl, not liking where this is going. From what I could find on the internet and public records, it mentioned Ally being a part of the lawsuit, but didn’t give any details on what happened with her and her old manager.
“Exactly her.” Nate looks furious. “Normally, I’d wait until Ally would tell you this herself, but seeing how you keep putting your foot in your mouth, I’m going to try and help prevent that without giving you every detail.
That’s something she can do.” He glares at me.
“You say Ally left Lulu and never looked back. You are so fucking wrong. When Ally found out what was happening with Lulu, the first thing she wanted to do was get on the next flight and go back home to be there for her. Only, when Julia found out, she wasn’t going to let Ally fuck everything up for her.
Ally was Julia’s cash cow, and nothing was going to stop her from getting what she wanted.
So, she abused her Alpha power over an Omega, commanding her not to leave.
Not only that, but she also commanded her not to get involved with anything regarding Lulu.
Ally physically wasn’t able to go back home, to call her, to do anything.
Up until Julia was caught, she made sure to keep Ally under her thumb every chance she got.
It didn’t stop Ally from thinking about Lulu.
Julia used her power to make Ally do things she didn’t want to do because it made her more money. ”
My stomach sinks, and a sick feeling washes over me. I fucked up. Fucking hell, I fucked up big time.
Knowing someone was so cruel to not just an Omega, but my scent match, makes me want to find this bitch and give her back some of the pain she caused Ally. This is going to kill Lulu when she finds out.
“But know this: Ally hasn’t made it a secret that she cares so damn much for your Omega. She’s been in love with her since they were kids. She never stopped wanting what was best for Lulu.”
“Please don’t take this as me thinking Ally was in the wrong. I honestly want to know. Why didn’t Ally reach out to Lulu after Julia was out of the picture?” I ask.
“Ally has her reasons; she can share them with you if she wants. All you need to know is Ally wanted to be there for Lulu, but was forced not to be.”
“How did this go from a birthday surprise for Lulu to... all of this?” Gavin sighs heavily, taking a seat on the couch.
“Life likes to fuck you in the ass when you least expect it.” Nate shrugs. “You’ve got to learn to roll with it or let it take you down.”
“I’m not a fan of being fucked in the ass,” I mutter, taking a seat next to my brother.
“Can’t say I agree with you.” Nate gives us a mischievous grin. I can’t help but laugh. He is a cheeky fucker. He isn’t so bad. Jury is still out on his boyfriend.
“I’ll take your word for it,” I huff in amusement.
“Now. The question is, are you going to fight this?” Nate asks us. “Because it’s not just your and Ally’s lives changing, it’s Lulu’s and Liam’s too. As crazy as Ally might have sounded, her idea is a good one. Do you want to be away from Ally while she’s travelling the world for work?”
The idea of being away from her, even right now while she’s on stage, is suffocating, and the only way I can breathe is to be near her. “No,” I growl.
“And do you think you could be away from Lulu while she’s touring with Ally? Because I can tell you, Ally has no plans on letting that girl out of her sight.”
“No,” both Gavin and I growl out.
“Then do you have a better idea?”
“No,” I sigh.
“Then this is what we’re doing.” Nate nods. “Now, I’m gonna go make sure everything is going well with the show. You two are welcome to wait in here or come out and watch. It’s up to you.”
Nate leaves us, and we both just sit on the couch, thinking.
“You did say you always like a good adventure,” Gavin says, a smirk playing on his lips.
“I do.” I nod. Flashes of what life could become pop up in my mind.
Being with Ally, holding her, kissing her.
Hearing her laugh, that sass that really did make my cock hard.
Lulu snuggled into my side, just enjoying the feeling of holding one another like we do.
Ally and Lulu together, like they should have been this whole time.
I can see myself being a part of that. I want that.
Fucking hell, I want that. And I don’t care where it happens.
“So...” Acceptance hits me. “We’re gaining an Omega, Alpha, and Beta?”
“Looks like it,” Gavin says. “I might not be gaining another romantic relationship, but I’ll be there for you as you navigate your new one.
And we’ll be there for Lulu as she gets the time back with Ally that she’s been craving for.
This might seem like a lot, but did you see the pure joy on Lulu’s face after they came back from wherever Ally took her? ”
I did. I’ve never seen Lulu so genuinely happy. She was glowing, pure joy radiating off her.
“I scented her too,” I groan. “Is it wrong of me that their combined smells had me harder than stone?”
“And just think about it, brother. You get both of them.” He wiggles his brows.
The idea sinks in, and fuck, now I’m hard again.
“Are we just gonna sit in here, waiting around twiddling our thumbs, or are we gonna go see how badass of a rockstar your new Omega is?”
The urge to go watch her, to see her in her element, hits me. “Let’s go.” I get to my feet.
“That's my man,” Gavin chuckles.
I have no idea what tomorrow is going to bring, but what I do know is that I need to make it up to Ally for hurting her and putting my damn foot in my mouth. The hurt in her eyes when I said what I did is something I never want to see again. And I sure as hell don’t want to be the reason for it.
If someone talked to Lulu like that, I’d have killed them.
I treat my girl like a queen. And Ally shouldn’t be an exception.
My girls. My Omegas. Mine.
Life is about to get a whole hell of a lot more interesting.
