I sigh heavily. “One of the biggest things that affects me is that if something isn’t constantly in my life, around me, a part of my routine, I can forget it even exists.
A lack of object permanence, pretty much.
I can go months without even thinking of my parents unless they call or text me.
I hate it. It sucks big time. But I don’t mean anything by it.
” I sigh heavily, feeling guilty. “I just get so wrapped up in my life, so many things on my mind, it’s hard to remember anything that's not in front of my face. The meds don’t do much to help with that part. ”
“You remembered me,” she says softly.
My eyes find her. “Lulu, baby, I could have had amnesia, and my brain would still know who you were in some kind of way. There's no life that I live where I’d ever forget you.”
Her eyes well with tears, and she wipes at them with the back of her hands. “You suck.” She lets out a watery laugh.
“I lick too.” I wink.
Her cheeks go pink, and my mind drifts to the past few days we spent locked in my room, tangled in one another's embrace.
I can’t get enough of her. I’m truly addicted.
“Call them,” Lulu says, snapping me out of my dirty thoughts.
“What?”
“Call them. When we get back to the hotel room. We can tell them together.”
“Okay.” I smile. “I’d like that.”
Lulu doesn’t know about my mom keeping things from me back when the trial was going on. I’m not sure how to bring it up. Lulu has always loved my mom; my parents always adored her as if she were one of their own. I don’t want her to hate them.
Even though it took a while for me to build that trust back with my parents, I saw that they thought they were doing what was best for me at the time. They loved me and wanted to protect me. Doesn’t mean what they did was right, but I saw where they were coming from.
After we leave the photo shoot, we head back to the hotel to get ready for tonight’s concert. I’m excited, but also exhausted. Who knew two days of sex would make me want to sleep for weeks on end? Totally worth it, though.
When Lulu told me she’s never been with a woman, I thought she was lying. The way that girl works her tongue is downright criminal.
But when she told me she was serious, I was impressed. I told her the same went for me, and she had the same reaction. Guess when you spend years lost in your mind with all of the dirty things you dreamed of doing to the girl you love, it comes in handy.
That led to a conversation on our past sexual relationships.
When I told her she was the second person I’d ever been with, she didn’t believe me, and was shocked that I’ve never been with any of the celebrities I’ve worked with or been around.
While there were a few articles that stated I was seeing someone, they were all lies.
Photos were manipulated to look how they wanted to spin the story.
A lot like the rumors about me and the band.
When I asked about hers, the girl looked like she wanted to crawl into a hole.
She sounded so guilty when she told me about the heat program at Calling Wood. I told her she had no reason to feel bad about who she's been with in the past.
It helped, I think, when I told her I’d have done the same if the circumstances of my life were different; I just didn’t have the ability to take that road.
I assured her that our pasts didn’t matter. What was important was that we're together now.
“I can’t get over this view,” Lulu says, standing in front of the massive window overlooking the strip.
“It’s pretty amazing,” I murmur, my eyes glued to her ass. They look so damn good in those jeans. “Those should be illegal."
Lulu laughs, smiling brightly at me as she spins to face me. “Stop it.” She giggles.
“I agree. Can we get you in like a muumuu or something?” Liam asks with a playful growl. “I don’t want anyone seeing my girl's ass. That's my ass.”
“And mine,” Brady grumbles.
“Mine too!” Gavin chimes in somewhere in the room.
“Pretty sure I claimed it,” I say, walking over to Lulu, whose cheeks are bright red. “Look.” I pull down the top of Lulu’s jeans just enough to peek at the teeth marks on her ass cheeks.
“You marked her!” Liam gapes at me.
“Relax,” I mutter. “I didn’t break the skin. Just kept biting until it left imprints of my teeth.”
“What’s over it?” Liam asks, squinting. “Is that tape?”
My brows furrow, my eyes dropping to the bite mark. “Huh.”
“That would be second skin,” Brady says, walking over to us, sounding all smug.
“Brady,” Lulu warns. My eyes dance between the two of them. Brady ignores her. “If you were wondering where Lulu disappeared to this morning while you were with your hair and makeup artist, she was at a nearby tattoo shop.”
“Brady!” Lulu groans.
“Tattoo?” My eyes widen, a smile curving on my lips. “Holy shit, babe, did you? Is this? Fuck, is this a tattoo of my teeth marks?”
“Please don’t think I’m some crazy stalker,” she pleads with me, her baby blue eyes wide with panic. “I just know that we can’t really mark one another, and eventually I’ll have their marks on me, and I wanted yours too.”
Arousal, pride, and downright fucking glee fills me. “Do you know how fucking sexy it is to have you so obsessed with me?” I ask, wrapping my arms around her waist, pulling her body to mine. She wraps her arms around my neck, looking at me with a nervous, shy expression. “You're not freaked out?”
“No, baby.” I brush my lips against hers, ready to fuck her here on this hotel floor. “I’m fucking honored. To know you love me so fucking much that you’d make my mark permanent is the biggest turn on.”
“Yeah?” She bites her lower lip, eyes filling with need.
“So fucking needy.” I kiss her softly, heat licking my body. “I want one too.” I suck her lower lip into my mouth, biting down enough to make her moan. “But I want mine right here.” I lean down, grazing my teeth over the top of her left breast. “Close to my heart.”
“O-okay,” she breaths out.
“Ally, Kitten,” Nate rudely interrupts. “I’m gonna have to ask you to take a step back from the pretty Omega before the both of you cause these three to go into rut, and that would very much be inconvenient regarding the events of the night—— your concert.”
Blinking out of my lusty haze, we look over to see Brady, Liam, and Gavin all staring at us with heat in their eyes, growling soft and low.
“Oops.” I bite my lower lip, mine and Lulu’s perfume registering in my mind. “Sorry.”
“How about you make that phone call?” Nate suggests. “The one you mentioned earlier.”
Well, that’s a sobering thought. “You're a pussy block, you know that?” I groan. “Fine, okay.”
Moving over to the couch, I sit down and pull up my parents' contact on my phone.
Everyone gathers around, Lulu on my left, Brady on my right, but just out of view until I’m ready to show them.
“Let’s get this over with,” I mutter before pressing call.
It rings a few times before my mom’s face pops up on the screen. The moment my eyes land on her beautiful face, I want to cry.
“Hey, Mama.” I smile.
“Ally, my girl. How are you?!” She smiles wildly. “Oh, we miss you so much.”
“I miss you too. Sorry, I haven’t called in a while. Just been crazy busy.” It’s no excuse, I should still find time for my family.
“We understand.” Mom waves me off.
“Is that my girl?” My dad, Calvin, says, stepping behind Mom. “Ally, sweetie. How are you?”
“I’m good, Dad,” I tell him. “Is Ryder and Malcolm home?” I ask about my other two fathers.
“Malcolm, Ryder!” Calvin bellows. “Get your ass in here. Our daughter is on the phone.”
I look over the phone to see the guys smiling. “It’s cute how much they love you,” Gavin whispers.
I roll my eyes but smile, bringing my attention back to the phone.
After I say hi to all my dads, answering their questions on how I’m doing, I get their attention with, “I called to say hi, but also for a bigger reason.”
“Okay.” Mom blinks. “Are you okay? Is something wrong?”
“I’m fine.” I can’t help but smile wide. “Better than fine. I’ve never been better.”
“Oh.” Mom’s eyes flicker before she smiles. “That’s amazing to hear. Might we know what’s got you better than ever?” she laughs.
“How about I show you instead,” I say, turning the phone slightly so Lulu is in the shot with me.
Mom’s gasp is loud, and she lets out a sob that has my eyes filling with tears. “Lulu,” Mom whispers in disbelief. “Is that you?”
“Hi, Lydia,” Lulu waves, speaking softly.
“Oh, honey. Oh, Lulu, love. I can’t believe it’s really you,” Mom rasps out. “How is this possible?”
“It’s a long story, but pretty much the universe took pity on us and finally brought us back together,” I tell them, coming closer into view.
“I’m so happy,” Mom wails before breaking out into sobs. “You have no idea how happy I am to see you two together again.”
“Us too.” Lulu looks at me, and I get lost in her eyes, smiling back at her.
“We’re together,” I tell them. “Like, together, together.”
Mom just cries harder.
“Is she okay?” Lulu whispers.
“Mom?” I ask, not sure of the answer.
“I’m sorry,” she sniffs. “I’m just so happy. You two belong together, I always thought so.”
“That’s not all the news I have to share.” I chew on my lower lip. “I have a pack now.” Saying the words has tears stinging my eyes. Something I’ve wanted for so long and thought would never happen.
Brady pulls me into his lap, his face popping into the screen.
“Nice to meet you, Ally’s parents. I’m Brady. Ally’s scent match.”
“Scent match?” My dad, Malcolm, repeats in disbelief. “Well, holy shit.”
“Congratulations, honey,” Mom says, smiling wide. “How did you meet?”
“Brady is actually Lulu’s Alpha as well.” I smile up at Brady.
“Whoa,” Mom breathes. “That’s amazing. But... what about...”
“Liam?” I ask, laughing. “Yeah, we’re together.
“Thank god that man pulled his head out of his ass,” my dad, Ryder, grumbles. “I was starting to think your dads and I needed to beat some sense into him.”
I snort a laugh before slapping a hand over my mouth.
