Page 4 of Knot So Damaged
He slams me up against the brick wall of the dark alley he managed to push us into during the struggle. The Alpha pushes his body against mine, this weight keeping me trapped. Not like it matters. I can’t move, no matter how much my brain screams at me to get the fuck out of here, to actually implement everything I have learned.
He chuckles and leans in closer towards me, his nose pressing against my neck. The Alpha groans and I feel him stiffen through his clothes.
“Sometimes during our time together, I have convinced myself that you are actually an Omega. But you are a filthy little slut, aren’t you? You want me to split open that Beta pussy. To force my knot inside of you.”
He rolls his body into mine. My stomach clenches in revolution.
“No.”
My voice is a harsh whisper but I know he hears me loud and clear. He freezes before pulling his face from my neck, his dark eyes finding mine.
“What did you say to me?” he mutters through gritted teeth.
With a little bit more conviction, I put everything I can into my next words. “I said no.”
He pauses for a moment before he descends into laughter. I look upon him in shock, unable to understand what's happening. Out of all the reactions that I was preparing myself for, this wasn’t on the list.
Eventually he calms down enough to look back at me. Instead of the humor you would think would be on his face, I find an undeniable rage.
“You think that you can tease me and just tell me no? That's not how this works, Cherry.” His upper lip raises as he sneers at me. “I paid for a service and I expect to be paid.”
“I don’t do full service work.” I shake my head, proud that I don’t stutter.
He snorts. “You don’t do full service for anyone but me. I fucking own you.”
“No,” I whisper again. Dread washes over me in a wave. I already know where this is going. I thought I would have been one of the lucky ones. I never signed myself up for anything but dancing.
Guess my luck ran out.
“After months of begging, Ivan finally decided he was ready to sell you to me. It might just be for the night but I don’t plan on letting you get far from me, Cherry.”
“No. No. No,” I murmur the words over and over again.
I feel a tear drip down my cheek. I knew that Ivan was a pig but I didn’t expect this. Everything I have been running from is catching up to me again.
No.
This Alpha will take me. Mrs. Perry will eventually call Child Protection and Amity will be put into the system. My baby will be taken from me.
No.
I feel myself begin to hyperventilate. My breathing comes in ragged breaths that hardly reach my lungs before they are drawn back again.
The man pressed against me doesn’t seem to notice my freak out. If he does, he doesn't pay it any mind. Instead he continues to mumble on, talking about everything he will do to me once I am his.
The words are drowned out, replaced by ringing that threatens to deafen me.
That anger that I had called when I was first attacked slowly returns to the forefront like some kind of flight-or-fight mechanism.
I thrash my body against the tight hold on me. The once murmured words quickly turn into shouting.
I feel like we are caught in the fight for hours but it must only be seconds before the body pinning me is pulled away from mine.
I go to fall to the ground but instead of the broken pieces of the alley catching me, a hard body does.
I go to fight them, refusing to relax, but I pause as a calming voice shushes me.
“Shh, it's okay. You are safe.” A gruff voice makes me jolt, pausing the panic, if only for a moment.
