But after all these years, I’m ready. Ready to finally be happy.
A grin stretches across my face as I embrace the club. It feels like a lifetime since I have been here, when in hindsight, it's barely been a fortnight.
Luna’s face lights up the moment that she sees me—even more so when she catches the men at my back. After my heat, I knew I had to come clean to my best friend at some point.
It was time for me to be honest with her.
She took it surprisingly well. I think there was a part of her that maybe knew the entire time.
Running up to me, she envelopes me in a hug before pulling back with a slight disgruntled look.
“Damn, I thought being an Omega would mean that your scent would be out on display now.”
I roll my eyes as Cal growls, the Alpha pulling me into him. “That scent isours.”
After Conall and Vic found the claiming bite on my neck, they have barely left my side. I think it has something to do with only just having had my heat and only been bitten by one of their pack brothers.
Or they are just over protective bastards.
I think it may be the latter.
I push him away, rolling my eyes at the caveman behaviour. I grab Luna’s hand, dragging her along behind me as I head to the dressing room.
“Fucking brutes, the lot of them,” I grumble, frowning at their protests.

The club is already packed by the time I get out on the floor. Against my regular first night tradition, I decide to wear something a little bit simpler.
A black sequined bodysuit with a cut out over the stomach gives the illusion of a bikini, crisscrosses over my chest into a halter neck. I am by far one of the most modest dancers tonight but that does nothing to distract from what I have allowed on display.
Other than my claiming bite, of course.
It hurts to cover up the one thing I wish to show off for the world but Olis and I both know if I want to continue dancing, I will have to sacrifice these things.
Doesn’t make it suck any less.
My scent was the next thing that had to go. While I’m not taking my heat suppressants anymore—seeing as that train is now long gone—scent-neutralizers are still a must.
My schedule for tonight is quiet, which is unexpected.
Normally I would have had a few privates booked by now. But there's nothing apart from my stage sets. I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with the three Alphas in one of the dark corners of the room.
The moment I walked out of the dressing room, I could feel their eyes on me. It's a heady feeling having their attention on me. It makes thinking fucking hard.
Like the fact that I need to somehow come up with two different stage sets that I haven’t done a second of practice for.
I need to ask one of my Alphas if they can set up a pole for me in the gym that I can use to practice on.
Before them, I used to come into the club early or go around to Lulu’s and practice. Now with everything that’s going on, I doubt those two options would even be considered. We can’t become lax just because of the title that my men hold.
That would be naive of us.
Instead, every moment we are outside of the gates of their mansion, we are automatically on edge.
Vic has even mentioned moving his boys and Kennedy back in so both of us Omegas are safe. Knowing that Kennedy is pregnant had me agreeing with them without a second thought.
I shake myself out of my thoughts in time to hear my name being called up onto the stage. For a moment, nerves hit me but I push through them as I make my way up the stairs.
