Page 49 of Hell Fae Captive
Her dress was made to be unwrapped like a gift, leaving her bare. I knew she wore nothing beneath, as undergarments were against the rules. And unless she conjured some in defiance—something that was absolutely possible, considering her propensity for breaking the rules—she’d be naked.
Mmm.I allowed the visual to taunt my mind, the image easily forming of me taking her from behind while she sucked off Az. A beautiful fantasy.
By the flash of interest in Az’s gaze, I wasn’t the only one thinking about it, either.
Too bad we couldn’t follow through.
She was my prisoner, not our fuck toy.
Yet,some part of me whispered. A dark part that wanted to play.
But not here. Not like this.
Shoving the brewing fantasy out of my mind, I touched the back of her neck as my eyes trailed down the thin fabric of her dress.
Clenching my jaw, I unclasped the necklace.
“I’m surprised you were able to make a friend, let alone two, what with your lack of self-preservation instincts,” I said, forcing my thoughts to behave as I stood. Befriending Sir Bachen was shocking enough, but this necklace proved he wasn’t her only ally in this place.
Intriguing.
Camillia released a sarcastic sound from her throat. “Friends. Yeah. Sure. That’s the dream, isn’t it? Befriending captors and all that?”
Az stood. “Well, if we were your friends, we could help you.”
“We could,” I agreed.
“But we won’t.”
“We definitely won’t.”
“Well, that’s good since the lastgiftyou gave me put me out cold for nearly two days,” Camillia retorted. “Not really interested in friendships likethat.”
“What gift?” I asked her, confused.
“The cupcake.”
And we were back on the dessert again. “I didn’t give you a damn cupcake.”
“Then why did the card with it haveWardenon it?” she countered.
“First, I don’t go around handing out baked goods. And second, I definitely don’t leave calling cards behind.”
She frowned at me. “Then who put the cupcake on my nightstand?”
“Maybe the same one who gave you this,” Az drawled, gesturing to the necklace. Then he held out his palm for me, indicating he wanted the talisman. “I’ll get some answers.”
I dropped it into his palm, trusting him to see it through. He and Lucifer were bonded, something that marked Az as the better candidate to handle that conversation. Besides, I had a little hellfire kitten to play with in my dungeon now.
A hellfire kitten with an unhealthy obsession forcupcakes.
Az tucked the necklace into his pocket. “Enjoy playtime.” He looked meaningfully at me, warning me with his eyes not to have too much fun without him.
Then he left the cell, locking Camillia and me inside.
