I met Ty’s burning gaze as I reached around him to set the now-empty wine glass on the nightstand. “Our Warden has chosen to upgrade her accommodations in the dungeon.”

Both of Ty’s eyebrows rose. “Hewhat?”

“It’s not against the rules,” I informed him softly, my hand slipping over his to draw his touch up to where I desired him most.

“He’s not a Hell Fae.”

“No, but the dungeon is his territory. And if he wants to invite a prisoner into his quarters, it’s his prerogative.” There were no rules down there regarding intimacy with the Warden, mostly because they’d never been required before. Only a suicidal fae would think to entertain one of Ty’s violent creations in the bedroom.

But Cami was a different entity entirely.

“You said there were two,” Ty said, narrowing his gaze. “Who else?”

The way he asked told me he already knew. Likely because he would be able to feel Az’s pleasure even more intensely than I could sense Cami’s. And as Az’s relationship with Ajax wasn’t a secret to anyone, it would be fairly obvious who that second person was in this equation.

But I humored him by replying anyway. “It seems Az has decided to play. And heisa Hell Fae.”

His jaw ticked. “I see.”

I grinned. “Do you?” Because something told me he didn’t fully see the big picture yet at all. Which was okay. I would show him in time.

“Your gift to Cami was Ajax.”

I contemplated that phrasing for a moment. “In a manner of speaking, yes.” But I had meant the gift of comfort and pleasure that she experienced now as a result of Ajax’s involvement. However, it was close enough to the truth to count.

That gift would continue when he started training her for the Netherworld Kingdom.

I suspected he would reserve tomorrow for that, as today had been about rejuvenating the soul and finding pleasure in each other’s company.

A perfect way to spend a shared existence.

“Always.”

I leaned in to kiss him, but his grip on my shaft tightened in warning. “You still owe me several days from our last bargain, Melek.”
