Page 26 of Hell Fae Captive
Midnight Faeclaimed.
One bite and he would be tied to me for eternity.
Well, technically, it tookthreebites to do that, but even the first stage couldn’t be broken. And he would have no choice in the acceptance. It was how Midnight Fae worked. At least for the males, anyway. Females couldn’t claim. Only males. No idea why. And I wasn’t in the mood to ponder it now, not with Az’s dick rubbing against mine.
“Fuck,” I growled, my fingers threading through his hair to tighten my hold on his scalp.
“Yes,” he agreed, his palms going to the band of my track pants to tug them down.
This would be quick.
Rough.
Violent.
And just what I needed to forget all about—
A blaring alarm sliced through my thoughts, jolting up my spine.
Az flew up to his feet, his gaze instantly alert as I stared at the whirling flame a few feet away.
My gaze narrowed at what that enchanted fire meant.A captive out after curfew.
I’d created this spell shortly before the recruitment began, as the visual alert made it easier for me to track escapees. The flames would lead me right to the culprit.
Alas, the last three who’d attempted to escape were ripped apart in the charcoal blade courtyard, the hellish day creatures more than doing their jobs before I could reach them.
In fact, the flames dissipated almost as soon as they’d appeared.
But not this one.
Which meant someone had circumvented the initial round of beasts, thus coaxing all the creatures to come out to play and track their prey.
There was only one captive I’d met with the ability to test their limits.
Camillia De la Croix.
That damn pixie of a female was going to be the death of me. Not only had she cut into my duties for the day, but she’d also tugged on some hidden heartstring inside my chest.
And now, she was blocking me from a much-needed fuck.
“I’m going to shred her apart myself,” I declared, slowly returning to my feet and fixing my pants.
“Who?” Az demanded.
“Camillia,” I growled.
His eyebrow lifted. “The little blonde thing?”
“Yes.” I walked toward the flaming ball and morphed it into a map with my hands. “Show me where that delinquent little brat is now.”
The sphere transformed into a tangible playground of buildings and paths, the various dots representing all my prisoners. When I pulled up Camillia’s room, I found it empty. With a shake of my head, I began my search.
Once I found her, I would teach her a lesson she wouldn’t soon forget.
And all those amenities I’d gifted her would burn into ash.
“Come out, come out, wherever you are,” I hummed, scanning the grounds for her essence. “It’s time for your first real lesson as a Hell Fae Captive.”
