Page 154 of Hell Fae Captive

So cleansing and pure.

I nearly hummed in approval.

Only, that sense of dread grew, ice slithering down my spine as a shimmer of magic touched my senses. I straightened, my gaze flying around the small bathroom, searching for the source.

But it wasn’t in the room with me.

No.

The source was in the doorway.

In the form of two very pissed-off fae.

Ajax took in my nude state, his lips flattening at the sight.

And Az twirled a blade, his irises twin pools of obsidian fury.

Both men looked like they were about to eat me.

Or maybe even kill me.

I gulped, my throat aching despite the water I’d just sipped.

Ajax grabbed my arm and hauled me out of the bathroom before pushing me up against a nearby wall. He slammed his hands on either side of my head, trapping me in a cloud of his minty scent.

His irises resembled blue fire as he narrowed them at me, his lips almost close enough to touch mine. “You’re in trouble now, Camillia.” He sounded cold. Furious. Very unlike the Ajax of hours before.

“Yes,” Az agreed, his voice just as livid. ‘“You evaded my Phoenix for thirty fucking days, and you’re going to tell me how you did it. Right fucking now.”
