Don Caselli

My legs rested against the small pool that was in our hotel suite. I had my laptop rested on my legs as I got lost in Pooh’s ass in that bathing suit. She was making a video about the book she finished on the jet here.

She used the backdrop of Nice, France as her background and spoke about the book.

I watched as she claimed why the main male character was her man and reminded her of me.

Navy had this way of being transparent and real, but she was private, too.

While she announced her engagement, she said she wouldn’t be posting her man.

I bit my bottom lip as I watched her ass move, while she spoke. Her hair was pressed straight, but she had it hidden under my hat she took from the closet. I looked down at the reports and wasn’t as interested in them.

As if he knew I was having dirty thoughts about his daughter, Ro called me. “What up, Old Head?”

“Nothing much, my guy… how is the weather?”

“Shit, I should be asking you… ain’t it late there?”

He chuckled. “Yeah, Avril took her ass to sleep already. Wanted to check in with you two before I turned in for the night.”

“Bleu recording a video about her book. I’m going over reports for that dog shelter we got Mink from.”

Jordan was so grateful that she offered to watch Mink for us while we were gone. “I got the plans you want to go with for the new space, let me know the moves.”

“Appreciate you.”

Ro became quiet and then looked into the camera. “Don, you don’t know how much you make her happy. I’ve never seen her this way, and I’m starting to feel like I ain’t never experienced my child happy.”

“She changing some shit within me… I love the shit out of her, Ro.”

“I know it, G… I can see how she have yo’ ass floating. Like how Avril have me floating years later.”

“Other than that, you good?”

“More than straight… have a good night and kiss Mamas for me.” He yawned in the phone, and I nodded my head.

“Got you.”

“Don?”

“Yeah?”

“Love you, son.”

I smirked. “Love you, too, Old Head.”

As we ended the call, I watched the water fall from her ass. Getting back to work, I hummed, so fucking elated I could save a dolphin.

“You listen to Coldplay, Landon?” I looked up and noticed she was standing beside me, and closed my laptop, replacing it with her ass.

I chuckled. “Yeah… Menace.”

“He doesn’t take me as a Coldplay kind of guy.”

“You’d be surprised.” The man listened to the same song every morning on a loop and had been doing it for years.

“Well, that is done for the day… what should we do today?”

I kissed her lips. “Let me do you.”

“Already did that this morning, baby.” She kissed my lips back.

“You still want to get married here?”

“I’ll let you know at the end of the trip. I’m nervous for this gala, though.”

Bringing her close, I kissed her neck. “Don’t need to be worried… shit is regular, and you’ll get used to it.”

“Okay… old men don’t be running around with they dicks out, right?”

I laughed so hard that I damn near dropped her off my lap. “By the time night hits… we know to stay the fuck away. This is a getaway for them… their sex Olympics.”

“Stevie said Kennedy is here.”

“I heard.”

“Why would she be here if she’s married?”

I sighed. “Some wives know what goes on and just want the trip. Then you have some that don’t know and are completely oblivious.”

“That’s sad.”

“It’s life… not my problem because I got my wife right here, and I’d be damn if anybody else getting this dick.”

“I might fuck around and smile in a mugshot over you, Landon.”

“Say it.”

“I love you, Landon Caselli.”

She kissed my lips. “I love you, Navy Bleu Caselli.”

Whistles and claps erupted through the foyer of the villa, as we stood on the circular staircase.

Jeffie, Skyler, and Corleon stood at the top.

Menace and Stevie stood in the middle, holding hands, while me and Navy stood up a few steps, me on Menace’s left.

I held her hand, looking at her Case House pin that was placed on the top of her dress.

Navy looked over at me, looking so fucking beautiful. Whenever she looked at me, I could feel and see the love pouring from her. She fixed a loose strand from Stevie’s hair and then faced forward.

Kora and Zoya stood a few steps ahead of Stevie and Menace, as he held the mic in his hand. At one time, it used to be Menace and only Menace standing here alone. I used to watch from the side and watch him rub his hands before the lights came on.

“Welcome the fuck back… new location, same saggy ass fucking balls, am I right?” They always laughed and got a kick out of him, not realizing that he was so serious.

Everyone laughed and clapped their hands, while Menace looked over at Stevie. She held his hand and smiled at him. “I want to send a congratulations to Don Caselli, on his engagement. The Caselli’s are growing. Congratulations to Don and Europe.”

We both shook our head while Stevie pinched him.

I looked at my soon to be wife and couldn’t wait to experience life being her husband.

I wanted to get this shit right so bad that it kept me up at night.

As she lay in my arms, I thought of all the ways to keep her happy.

I never wanted her to second guess how I felt about her.

When I met Navy Bleu, I never expected to care. Women were something to do, never supposed to be forever. I switched them out like I did clothes, even more frequently. She got into the front seat of my car, and she was herself.

Vulnerable.

Not trying to be anyone but herself and I needed that.

Someone so authentic and true to themselves that they don’t ever try and change to be someone else.

That was exactly what Navy was. She enjoyed books, hollering about her Sims characters, and baby talking with our dog.

She had access to any of my whips, and her favorite mode of transportation was the train.

Navy showed me her version of a city I had lived in my entire life.

A city that had always been about money and opulence.

I’ve had more than a dozen summers in New York, but I never had one with Navy Bleu.

She welcomed me into her world, never ashamed of where she came from.

In fact, she was proud of where she was from.

Her family was her world, and she would do anything for them.

Family wasn’t just a word to her; it meant everything to her.

They looked out for each other and would ride for one another.

Where they all could live anywhere in the world or city, they all chose to live within blocks from each other.

Voluntarily getting together to spend time.

Nothing was ever forced when it came to them.

I loved them.

They were my family, too. Nana would call me to say she seen something in the city and tell me to avoid traveling a certain way. Skip was forever calling me to see when I would come over, so he could take my money.

I was learning dominos and was almost sure Skip was cheating us all. His rules were forever changing, but I’d deal with it because along with taking your money, there was wisdom that came with the shuffling of the dominos.

Kennedy moved through the crowd and our eyes locked.

I looked at her, and then back at my fiancée.

Menace’s rule saved me from making a mistake that could have cost me everything.

I could have crossed my brother, ruined myself, all while trying to piece her back together.

Kennedy didn’t want to be healed. It was easier being broken with the life she lived.

She didn’t have to stare herself in the mirror.

She knew what she was in it for, and that was all that mattered to her.

Stepping into my role, I knew that it required more for me, and it required me to move like my brother. Never letting anyone know my next move, protecting my wife with my life. Navy didn’t need to have my babies.

A life with just us and Mink was what we desired. I didn’t know if I was more like my mother or my father, because I didn’t know them. They died when I was too young to remember. I did know that I was more like my brother than I thought.

Navy kissed my cheek. “Say it, Bleu.”

She whispered into my ear. “I love you, Landon Caselli.”

I kissed her lips, pulling her closer to me.

I needed Navy Bleu.

She was my favorite hue of blue.

My Pooh.
