Don Caselli
Recommendation: Listen to “Going Bad by Meek Mill ft Drake
Soon as I spotted that bitch, I pulled my Rolls Royce up on the sidewalk.
He and the woman he was with jumped back, as I hopped out with my eyes trained on his ass.
They were leaving some clinic on Ditmas Avenue, but that wasn’t my problem.
Every action had a reaction, so he should have considered that when he tried to fuck my wife on the sidewalk.
Jett purposely waited until after the proposal to tell me about this nigga and Pooh’s little interaction, and while he said he reached for her pussy, I heard he tried to take the shit and fuck her in front of the building.
“What the fuck, bro’? You damn near fucking hit us.”
I smirked. “Yeah, bitch I considered that shit.”
He looked at me weird, as I reached my hand out and choke slammed his ass onto the ground, while his mother screamed out.
“Stop! Stop! You’re hurting him!”
Beans moved her away from me while I beat the shit out of him. “Don’t ever put yo’ fucking hands on my wife… reaching for my pussy? You fucking crazy!” I bit my lip so hard I could taste the blood on my tongue.
I was fair and moved back to let him get his balance so he could swing back.
Then I flashed out and started beating the shit out of him before pulling my gun out.
Tapping that bitch against his temple, I looked him in the eyes.
“Don’t ever fucking speak to her again. Whatever you thought you had is done.
Nigga… she’s fucking mine, and I’ll rip yo’ mama’s walker from her and beat you with that bitch when it comes to her… feel me?”
He nodded his head, pissed that his ass got beat in front of his mother. “I’m calling the police, this is ridiculous.”
“Oh, you wanna meet Jesus, huh? You look like you damn near there.” I walked over toward her.
“Ma, chill… chill!” Antwan hollered.
He was lucky I didn’t A-town stop on his fucking legs. Had he not been an investment, I would have done the cupid shuffle across those bitches. I looked at him once more before I tucked my gun away and got back into the car.
“Have a great day, Ma’am,” Beans had the nerve to say, like she didn’t watch her son get stomped out.
I whipped off the sidewalk and looked at him picking himself up from the floor, while becoming lost in my head.
“Why hasn’t Wilson hit me back, Mens? You said that you had to talk to him real quick,” I asked when he entered the kitchen.
Slowly, quietly, and in his own head. His body moved perfectly, almost like he was floating. I saw the blood splatter on his shirt, and my stomach turned. He washed his hands, taking his time to answer me.
Menace didn’t answer to anyone, and in the chance that he did… he was going to do it on his time. “I sent him to live with his grandmoms.”
I paused, staring at my brother. “His grandmother passed away last year, Menace.”
He smirked, exposing the gold in his mouth. “Exactly.”
“He was my best friend, Maverick… why the fuck would you kill him?”
Like I expected, he didn’t reply or give me an explanation. I had tears coming down my face as I stared at him. “Stop fucking crying in here like a bitch over another nigga… you a fucking Caselli, ain’t no fucking room for tears, bitch.”
“You straight?” Beans brought me back to reality, and I merged on the highway to head back to the city.
“Yeah.”
“You went somewhere, D… let me know if you good, I got you,” he assured me, and I held my fist out and he bumped it.
The day that Menace introduced me to Beans, I felt like he was giving me a friend. He had lost my teddy bear, and this was his way of replacing it, and Beans was the replacement. Beans had been running with Menace and Corleon before we came into all these billions.
He was loyal.
Now knowing why he murked my best friend, it made sense why he put Beans with me. He was loyal and if it came down to it, he was going to ride out with me and have my back.
“You ready to see a nigga get married?”
“Shit, I heard weddings be lit… heard you get ass, too.”
I snorted. “You only want ass from one person, though.”
“Yessir… she called me crying about the engagement. Greene so damn happy for the both of you… shit refreshing.”
“Whole damn family refreshing. Can’t wait to make her my wife… shit don’t feel real.” I thought about watching Navy walk down the aisle to me.
Telling her how much she meant to me in front of our family and friends.
I couldn’t wait to sit down with the lawyers and have her pick out anything she wanted.
As a honeymoon gift, I was taking her away on a month-long honeymoon.
We were going to explore Europe, like she had spoken about on one of her videos from a year ago.
I didn’t want to rush down the aisle, I wanted the full wedding experience for us. Navy was close with her family, and I wanted her mama to help her plan the wedding, and to have everything she told me she wanted in the front seat of my car.
“Word.”
“Everything on pause until we know something, right?”
Until we got the green light, everything was moving as usual.
Menace was watching Sigel and Agent Robinson like a fucking hawk, not giving them any room to make a move without us knowing.
We couldn’t do anything right now, so business continued.
With Jasper’s brother dead, there was no immediate threat because Kora had Core wipe every piece of information that he had.
“Goon and Mens was talking about having Diablo handle Robinson.”
“He back fully?”
“He’ll make the exception when it comes to Menace.”
I looked at the text that Navy had sent me. She was sending me pictures of houses she was looking at for her family. “You really getting your balls cut?”
“I’m not a fucking dog, Beans… I’m not getting neutered.”
He laughed. “Shit, I’m not letting them put nothing sharp near my shit.”
“Greene wants kids, so you good. As for me and my baby, we good on having kids,” I replied, thinking about my appointment in a few days.
“I want a few of them, too… you gonna let them spend the night?”
“My God kids always got a home with me… probably gonna wanna get the fuck away from you.”
“Fuck up,” he snickered.
Navy’s name popped up on the screen and I answered. “What up, Pooh?”
“That one is over a million.”
“And?”
“That’s a lot and over the budget… and don’t kill me.” I laughed because I knew she had something crazy to say.
“What?”
“Alright, well, we were looking, and your realtor took me to this house that came on the market… she said that it was beautiful, and perfect for newly-weds. A huge yard for Mink… we don’t have to go all the way downstairs to walk her. I don’t have to sleep in your fuck pad bed.”
Beans snorted.
“Do you want it?”
“I want you to see it, and then we can have a conversation about it. The realtor said she’s gonna send you the information because you’re a numbers guy,” she mocked the realtor.
“I think the house is perfect and it’s in the same neighborhood as ours,” I heard Stevie in the background.
They were going shopping for the event that we had coming up. “Stevie, I’m not trying to live within distance of my brother.”
“Not even your nephew?”
The call switched, and her facetime was coming through. Beans answered and held the phone up. “Look at his cute little Caselli face,” Pooh held my nephew up into the camera.
“I make pretty cute babies, Don,” Stevie bragged.
“How do you know, Stevie? You only made one… double that shit and I’ll believe you,” I joked with her.
“Don’t tempt your brother. He thinks Dennis is the cutest thing until he starts actually moving.”
“I’m seeing you later, Pooh?”
“Yes, come to my apartment… I have a few campaigns that need to be filmed before we fly out.”
We were flying out to the South of France for the Caselli gala.
All that shit he spoke about with the budget and not wanting to do anything new, and Jeffie made it all come together.
She found a beautiful villa that was cliffside and accessible by boat or helicopter.
The family would be flying in on the helicopter, and everyone else would be coming in by the boats.
“Alright, see you later.”
“Later, baby.”
“I just love people in love… everyone can be—” I didn’t hear what else Stevie was ranting about because Navy ended the call.
“Got my tux ready… need to buy some shoes,” Beans said, as he checked his phone.
“Get the shit together, B.”
“I ain’t gonna be last minute to see you tie that knot… might fucking cry. Depends on my mood. I’ll check in with myself that day.”
“Nigga, you nuts.” I chuckled, as we continued to handle business. I had a pit stop to fuck Antwan’s ass up, but now I was back on track.
“Don’t ever fucking lie to me like that again,” Menace muttered, as he tried to get comfortable in the waiting area chair.
I was trying to bond with my brother and get him away from that damn house.
He always spent time home, but now that he was married and a father, it was damn near impossible to get him away from their fortress.
Stevie and Navy had been spending a lot of time together, so she was out doing more without him.
“You came, though.”
He slapped his arm like there was a bug on him. “Don, I’m really starting to feel like you want me to kill you… gotta be the reason. You wanna die, right?”
I snorted and checked my phone. “I could have had a heart attack, never know. I’m touched that you came. Duke called me and was concerned because you flew out the house, driving yourself here.”
“Fat bitch,” he muttered. “Why the fuck we here, Don?”
His hands rubbed together because he wasn’t in control.
He acted on his feelings, thinking something was wrong with me, so he didn’t have the chance to think about his actions or how he would feel.
Now he was in this waiting room, feeling like he was about to scream because he didn’t know what was going on.
I looked up from my phone. “I’m getting a vasectomy today.”
He nodded his head. “It’s alright, Don.”
“What?”
