Laughing, she said, “Yeah, you do. But if we go to your place, I can’t stay the night. You’re not going to have me all wore out in the morning.”

“Whatever. Let’s go.” She grabbed my hand and led me out of the building.

I waited for her to pull out of the school parking lot, and then followed behind her.

The ride to my place had me anxious as hell, but it also made me think.

What the hell am I doing?

How is she supposed to make a decision if I keep letting her get what she wants?

When I pulled in front of my apartment building, I hopped out and headed to her car. “You know, maybe we should call it a night. I mean, I gave you something to hold you over.”

Looking at me like I was crazy, she scoffed. “You’re joking, right?”

“Nah, I mean, I’m going back on my word. That’s some shit that I try my best not to do.”

“Law, I don’t give a damn about your word right now. I’m horny and I want to be fucked. Period. Now, take me up to your apartment and do what the hell we came here to do.”

Jerking my head back, I said, “Hold up. You’re not about to talk to me like I’m crazy. You know I don’t play that shit.”
