Page 23 of Anything Goes
“Yeah, but he’s my athlete. I’m pretty sure I know how to handle things without you.”
I laughed. “You can chill with all of that extra shit. In case you forgot, this isourteam. I have just as much right to go as you do.”
“Yeah, but—”
“I’m going,” I said, cutting her off. “You might as well prepare yourself and book the room.”
“First of all, you can book your own room. Second, make sure it’s on a completely different floor.”
“Nah, I’m going to make sure that shit is right next door. That way you won’t have that far to travel when your pussy starts throbbing in the middle of the night.”
She glanced over her shoulder to make sure no one had walked in the room, and then looked back at me. “Don’t say stuff like that.”
“Why? It’s the truth. You know you can’t keep your distance. That’s why you don’t want me to come. I mean, you want me to cum, but you just don’t want me to—”
“God, I can’t stand your ass.” She hopped up from her chair and I hurried to grab her arm.
“You don’t even have to trip. I’m going to fuck you. It’s just a matter of when, and if it will be as your man, or just as a man that you’re still trying to avoid being with.”
The rise and fall of her chest made my shit rise.
Her little blouse did a good job of hiding those titties that I loved sucking, but it didn’t stop my mind from envisioning them.
“I’ll see you at practice, Coach Montgomery.”
“Sure thing,” I said before kissing her.
She didn’t move away. Instead, she allowed my tongue to seep between her lips and tangle with hers. My hand rested on the back of her head, seconds away from unraveling her bun. But she stopped me.
Sliding her fingers over her lips, she said, “I knew this was going to be a problem.”
“Only because you keep making it one. The sooner you give in, the sooner we can stop playing these games and move forward.”
“I have to go,” she said before scurrying out of my office.
Smiling, I shook my head. “I’m definitely weighing that ass down.”

Alauni
“Come on Launi, try this.”
I shook my head, annoyed that my mother was once again trying to use me as her guinea pig. “No, Mama, you know I don’t like that kind of cheese.”
“Just try it. You’ll like it.”
“No, I won’t. Go give it to Layne. Nope, scratch that. I don’t want you to wake her up. Give it to Denver. He likes trying all of your strange ass foods.”
“It’s not strange. It’s queso dip.”
“Yeah right. You and I both know that you don’t know how to make things exactly as they are. You have to use a little bit of this and a little bit of that. You’ve probably got squid and a whole bunch of other stuff in there that doesn’t belong.”
Frowning, she pulled her hand away from my mouth.
Thank God, because whatever it was smelled terrible.
“I really can’t stand you sometimes,” she said. “You’re so damn picky.”
