Page 71 of Wrestling with Daddy
Was that what other Daddies meant when they said certain subs could not function without a Dom?
Nathan didn’t know how he felt about it, but he thought he’d seize the opportunity to explore a bit more…andhave some nice food.
His boss was being stingy and only covering breakfasts, but he could splurge for a few days—or give Daddy motives to not work too late to have dinner with him.
Then again—Nathan’s nose scrunched up—Daddy had said his job was doing him dirty. Nathan didn’t want to add to the stress by demanding more.
That wouldn’t be right, would it?
Despite his tendency to get lost, the restaurant was easy to find once Nathan had walked past the enormous lobby with the huge rock fireplace filling one wall. The room would have so much lighting during the day. Nathan imagined it would be the perfect place to sit down with his laptop and work when it wasn’t so crowded.
He’d done his best not to pause so it didn’t look like he was staring, but he’d already seen a few pups piling over each other by one of the corners, and a group of guys with kitty ears creating more ruckus than he’d thought kittens would.
Maybe that could be an angle for a different article: differences and similarities between puppies and kittens—could they stand each other?
A waitress in a perfectly ironed black and white uniform led him to the table and handed him a menu bound in black leather. The restaurant was definitely for fine dining, everything about it screaming high cuisine, down to the at least six different utensils in front of him. Nathan was already overwhelmed, and he hadn’t even opened it.
When was the last time he’d chosen from a menu that wasn’t laminated or shown over the heads of exhausted part-time workers?
Nathan
you didn’t tell me the restaurant was this fancy!!
He attached a picture of the unopened menu for good measure.
Daddy
Just remember to ask for something to drink this time
Nathan
but !!!
Daddy
If you want me to tell you what to order, just say so
Nathan
I…may want that, Sir
Daddy
Good boy
We’re going to talk about your use of honorifics later
Nathan
I don’t know if that’s bad or not
Daddy
It’s not, but I think it’s important I understand what drives you
Nathan chewed on his lip. As they kept talking and their conversations between them flowed easier, so did Nathan’s use of honorifics to address Ken. He didn’t put much thought into it. When he was being more playful or just wanted some attention, or when Daddy was being sappier, he was Daddy. But when he was more stern or more… shiver-inducing, he was Sir.
It made sense.
