He should probably leave it alone, but trying to figure out Nathan was definitely better than the alternative of rehashing the past. He was more likely to succeed at figuring him out than he was Plum, too, that was for sure.

Besides, these were the moments of tenderness, of vulnerability—like the one that had been shining in his eyes in the pictures—that brought forth Ken’s Daddy side, kept him texting the guy.
