Page 65 of Wrestling with Daddy
He was done, though.
Nathan
okay, I’m done
I don’t know if I should thank you or hate you because it was torture and my head hurts
so your question better be good
Daddy
Drink some water for the headache
Nathan
I’m not dehydrated
Daddy
Coffee doesn’t count as hydration
Nathan
semantics
If he was honest—which he wouldn’t be with Daddy, of course—hewasprobably dehydrated. He’d drunk some water with lunch, but that was a long time ago.
He’d even have to admit—to himself—that downing a glass of water did help relieve some of the pain.
Daddy
Remember what I said about keeping track of these things
As for your question…What’s something you’ve never done that you want to do?
Nathan
that’s a good one, Daddy
I’m proud of you
I need to think, though
He did.
There were many things he hadn’t done that he wanted. Some, he barely acknowledged himself. Others, he didn’t think he could admit—not without completely changing the image that Ken had built of him.
That image wasn’t a lie. Nathan hadn’t actively said anything that was untrue.
It was just… hard to be the boy he wanted, to express the things he was feeling and ask for the things he needed.
Nathan
I’ve never been collared
For a second, he’d thought about saying something cheeky like going on an air balloon or seeing Wicked on Broadway. At the last minute, though, some force within him forced him to give Daddy something serious.
Something real. Something that opened a few of the gates he never let any other Doms even glimpse at.
