“Come here.”
“O-kay.”
“Do you like bruises or welts?”
“W-what?” Nathan blinked.
He hadn’t just asked…
“I told you I wanted to talk about specific kinks. I know you were flogged so impact play must be something you’re into.”
“I mean, yeah.” Nathan took a deep breath. Ken was certainly proving quite adept at catching him off guard, throwing him down into the deep end in a way that was scary and yet not. “Uh, welts. Things that sting. But bare hands are also good. Paddles, it depends. I can take some but not for a long time.”
“Good.” Ken slid out of the bed, his jeans buckled up again. That was a shame, Nathan found himself thinking. “After the food arrives, and before we eat, I want you to bend over my lap. I’ll spank you, and then we can enjoy the food you ordered, okay?”
Nathan nodded.
There wasn’t much else he could do.
“What about till the food arrives?”
“You’re gonna keep telling me what you like.”
“I…” Nathan swallowed. He hated this portion of kink. “Well, impact play, and puppy play, and I… I don’t like verbal humiliation, but I like it when a scene makes me cry. I like discipline and I think servitude, but I feel weird about that one sometimes because… It’s not a brat thing.”
“What do you like about puppy play?”
“Is this a job interview now?” The retort left his lips before Nathan could quell it.
He already knew Ken wasn’t going to appreciate it.
“You tell me.” Ken shrugged. Nathan got the impression that wasn’t a good sign. “You haven’t told me a lot about that, other than your name.”
“All my gear is home.”
Which was true, but it sounded like an excuse even to his own ears and Nathan… He didn’t want to hide. It was just new, and he still remembered the guys mocking him because they didn’t dothat.
“I’m not asking about your gear.”
“I know.” He sighed. He realized then he hadn’t asked about him being a pup like the other day. He’d asked what Nathan liked about being a puppy, and that was definitely easier to answer. “I like the freedom. I like not thinking and being able to be playful without rules or others judging. It feels like a less toxic place than other communities.”
“By other communities, you mean brats?”
“What? Well… No?” Nathan plopped down on the bed. “I think most communities have their own thing. Brats do battle each other to see who’s the best brat, but so do slaves, and even age players.”
“Fair enough.”
“And I know saying it doesn’t happen with puppy play is stupid.” Nathan huffed. He was only remotely aware of the rant building up in his head, but he couldn’t quite stop it—not completely. “I know there can be drama and bad blood but… it was literally born as a way for people to get into kink that wasn’t as overwhelming or scary. And it’s… literally barking and fetching things and chasing your own tail.”
“No, I understand what you mean.”
Nathan wasn’t as interested in continuing to talk when Ken pulled him closer, lips pressing against his. He didn’t know how he was going to make it without the constant influx of kisses now that he had them.
Even if he hadn’t forgotten the rule about asking for permission.
What he’d just almost forgotten, getting lost in touching and exploring Ken’s covered torso, was the upcoming punishment.
At least Ken didn’t make him open the door for the worker carrying the trays of food and the contraption for the chocolate.
